I don’t remember exactly what Camping’s calculations were based on, I think he was counting from the flood and using Gregorian calendar years so he might have had an erroneous base to start with. I always felt sorry for the guy, he was obviously heartfelt in his convictions and in the end even got beat on pretty good even by those in the church as the poster boy for date-setters. He is a cautionary tale for sure, but one thing I can say for certain, I think he and his prediction was used by the Lord in this way at least…. The scripture that talks about mockers and scoffers probably never reached its fullest meaning and climax until after Camping’ date passed - this launched a campaign of mocking and scoffing of those watching for the rapture like I have never seen before, at least in my opinion. Again, Ascencion day holds my great attention! As like the head of the Church (Christ), is this an obvious template for the Churches ascension (body of Christ)!? A huge possibility for sure! As Paul taught only one day stands out and was commonly accepted by the early church! Again, whether 3 days, 3o minutes or 3, we will not be take unawares! TR Not feeling it for Ascencion day so far! Oh bother! Perhaps Pentacost? But we've been here before with all the obvious days! Again, hopefully just before Summer! Who wants extreme heat, food shortages or the NWO to keep expanding!!! All our reckoning says we are at the very doors, let it be so!!! TR I hear you brother, whenever it becomes obvious the spring high watch days are behind us I get a little bummed out knowing that I will likely suffer working in the sweltering summer heat yet again, however I get equally melancholy when fall high watch days pass bracing myself for working in the freezing temps again - this has become my cycle of life - hopefully this year is the different one that breaks the cycle and here’s still hoping for THIS spring! I was thinking about the comment I made on one of your other threads about the fig tree generation and how we still had until the end of May- beginning of June before that officially times out. Then I was thinking about Pentecost Sunday June 5 - then I saw someone mention that June 6 is 6/6/2+0+2+2=6 (or 666) and it made me think could it be that simple? 6/5 the Restrainer is removed along with the church and 6/6the man of sin is revealed ? Things that make you go hmmmmmm….. Ever wonder why we are not immediately escorted into Heaven by the Rapture??? Instead, we met in a staging area in the clouds! Firstly so that Christ can present to the Father an assembled Bride, and secondly, a reunion of family, friends, as well as beloved brothers and sisters in Christ! A time of universal bonding before being whisked away into our chuppah with Christ!? TR
