Report: Hezbollah deploying forces on border with Israel
Hezbollah commander claims that there is no longer “red lines” in Syria, forces deployed on the Israeli border and Golan Heights, cites economic war, Persian Gulf crisis and sanctions on Iran; Hezbollah: If any missile hits Iran, it will be treated like Israel did it.

Reports this weekend claim Hezbollah has deployed forces on the border with Israel as well as along the Syrian border with the Golan Heights. A Hezbollah commander, who remained anonymous, gave an interview to the Daily Beast, citing tensions in the Persian Gulf, the “economic war” on Hezbollah and Iran and cuts to Hezbollah salaries as a result of sanctions. He was quoted stating, “The sanctions now have us preparing for dealing with the Israeli front,” reporting, “Our wish before the war in Syria was to go and open a front in the Golan, but the Syrian government set a red line. Now there are no red lines.”

He warned that Hezbollah would “fire the first shot this time,” and that “if any missile hits Iran, it will be treated like Israel did it.”

In March of this year, Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah called on supporters to donate to the terrorist organization amidst the US-Israeli waged “economic war.” He called on supporters of the terror organization to fund its 30-year primary benefactor, the Islamic Resistance Support Association.

Hezbollah and the Lebanese economy have been hit hard by US sanctions. Israeli strikes thwarting missile deliveries from Syria, growing global condemnation and designation as a terror organization and most recently, Operation Northern Shield, have all taken a massive toll on Hezbollah. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) destroyed the last Iranian-backed, Hezbollah cross-border terror tunnel entering Israeli territory in June 2019. The tunnel was the longest discovered during the operation which started in December of last year. The tunnel network, which was funded and supported directly by Iran to be used to attack Israel, had been under IDF surveillance since the Second Lebanon War in 2006. The tunnels violate UN Security Council Resolution 1701.

Last week, Nasrallah threatened that “Iran is able to bombard Israel with ferocity and force” and that any future war with Israel would be “bigger than the 2006 war… and it will put it on the brink of extinction.” Prime Minister Netanyahu responded, warning Nasrallah and Hezbollah, “It should be clear that if Hezbollah dares to do some nonsense and attacks Israel, we will hit him and Lebanon with a crushing military blow. In contrast to Nasrallah, I do not intend to detail our plans. It is enough to recall that Nasrallah had- for years – dug terrorist tunnels, which we destroyed within days.”

So very exciting to see! Look up brothers and sisters! :prayer-hands:
