Healing in the Lord has many faces! Whether via “faith healing” evangelists, positive confession, doctors or physcosamatic thoughts of health, many healings have been accomplished! Conversly, prayers by many faithful saints over the span of many years have fallen flat on the ground! Surely not formulatic in any sense of the word! God’s sovereignty still seems to reign supreme! Even against the back drop of many scriptures of promise and teachings of the power of faith, healings seem arbitrary! Also given that Christ’s ministry was ridden with the miraculous we are also taught that lack of faith will restrict healings! And yet some cases of healings though not actively sought, simply occur!? Again an ever present counter balance exists in the knowledge that the flesh in God’s eyes holds a low priority! So where does that leave us?! Even Moses who’s eye was not dimmed nor his strength abated who’s life was required by God! In my own case, mom had two miscarriages before I was born! My mother being 7 mos with child started bleeding internally! Her water had broken! In life saving measures they also thinking I was dead chose to extract me naturally! Arrangements had been made that should my mother die, her brothers family would raise my older sister! This is where I say I wasn’t born but was expelled for writing on the walls! In any event, when born I weighed 17oz! Both I and my mom survived! Left always to question why I remained alive given the medical technology 70yrs ago! While my father died at 47yrs of age! Needless to say, I have always been drawn to who lived or died and why! This also to include miraculous healings and their dispensation! TR Miracles of life are designed by God for His purpose. Having worked in a pediatric ICU, I have seen many miracles and thank God for the opportunity to witness His Devine work, even in the miracle of death. Look at what God has allowed you to accomplish in your lifetime and know that His miracle of life was not wasted, plus we enjoy having the knowledge that you will be able to “belly up to the bar” (coffee / tea bar ) that is in our RITAN shop once raptured and for eternity. :prayer-hands: Thanks Sis! Again, though involved, it’s not about me but Him and His workings! TR Seems my writing skills were honed at a very early age! Survivors guilt aside, as long as I live, I sing His praises! Again, my father died having but one stroke, while I have survived 4 heart attacks! TR Again, born at 17oz, on third day of the second month! An open vision given me I was 12! At 7yrs old the Lord put it in my heart to be a priest, following the Catholic persuasion! Yet years later, the Lord confirmed that calling at a night worship service at a Vineyard church! The Lord speaks and His favor has been upon me since before I was born! This is just a small portion of my testimony for the Lord! TR Indeed Tammie healings are but one of His many miracles! Again beyond my comprehension, I accept His sovereignty! I praise and worship the Lord through the good and lean days! TR
