There is no need to be sorry. Your truth is a light to the Glory and Gifts of our Lord Jesus. What may seem supernatural to many may be very natural to those who have the Spirit, the Holy Spirit working and acting in the lives of believers of the one true God and savior the Lord Jesus Christ. Many things I don't mention that happened in my life are miracles, natural to our Lord, but super-natural in this world. All things are possible thru Christ. Mountains can be moved by faith. The Lord moves in mysterious ways. Sadness is a natural reaction to the events in this world, I think its good to be sad showing tenderness, most turn to anger. We do suffer greatly here waiting for our true home with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that your sadness be turned to joy knowing our future is with Jesus, maybe very soon, but whenever its a sure thing He is coming for us. It’s difficult to share the down side of our lives, Boulder95. It like standing in front of everyone while being totally naked. But I feel certain that God uses these things to help others. We don’t know who it might help get through their own difficulties, but God does. Recently, on another thread, I shared a deeply difficult time I had gone through. It’s not something I like to talk about but I felt compelled to share it. The entire thread, everyone’s sharing, felt so Holy Spirit inspired and I believe what was shared was meant to help another in their difficult present situation. As far as the original question of a supernatural gift, I’d have to say it’s those times like the aforementioned sharing. I have had times where I’d be sharing with someone and the words that were coming out of my mouth were words I knew were not mine, to the point that I felt like I was watching someone else speak. The first time I’d experienced this was after I had finished speaking and I thought “Wow! Where’d that come from” but it’s happened enough that while it’s going on I seem to be a spectator of the event, if that makes sense. This doesn’t happen often but enough so that I notice when it does. There is nothing special about me and I believe this happens to all of us but perhaps most don’t notice it. I agree Yohanan. That's what happened to me when I had a 40ft tree pulled up out of the Earth and felled not but 15ft in front of me. TR Me too ... an evergreen tree came smashing down about 5 minutes after being in the same spot. This happened in Feb 2016 ... it was a mild winter and I was out walking my dog. It was very windy and I saw this beautiful rainbow. While taking pictures from the front deck I heard the crack and saw my neighbor’s tree split and half of the tree fell down in our driveway. I had to call up the local guy who plows for us to remove it. He was consoling me because my dad recently died and it lead me to sharing with him that he is in a much better place in heaven and was able to give him the Gospel that day so something good did come out of that ordeal. Oh and my next door neighbor paid for the tree removal charges. TR, that had to be an amazing experience! I remember one time before you had given a detailed account of it and it made the hair on the back of my head stand straight out. Geri, it that your same view today? Quite beautiful! I was just a witness to the power of God! I have neither the guts or the imagination to come up with something like that! But this was during my "faith" aspect of my journey with God. I had always a relationship and fear of God. But then I fell in love with Jesus! And for nearly two years afterward I entered into offering my prayers for others, while refusing to ask for anything for myself. After being convinced by others that I could indeed ask and entreat the Lord for myself, I was finally willing. One problem! I couldn't think of anything that I really needed nor wanted from the Lord. So in a state of embarrassment I asked the Lord to tell me what to pray for. He told me to pray for Faith, Wisdom and Patience. As I review my life, I see where and how these three prayer requests were fulfilled. And yet some 50 yrs later they all still serve me in good stead! All to His glory! TR Thank you, Yohanan. This was my parent’s place. It was a little slice of heaven on earth that I was fortunate to experience for 17 years. After they both passed on I couldn’t afford the place nor can 1 person do the upkeep. You need 3 people just to tidy up the house. It was a little over 5 acres with a river that ran through the backyard. Extremely peaceful and great neighbors. The only stressful worries were seeing the bear coming to the bird feeder, a few coyotes, foxes, raccoons, deer and 1 moose running down the street. Ever so often I would see snapping turtles and a few snakes coming out of the river to sun themselves on the back lawn. ((Shivers)) My next door neighbor had a chocolate lab and a husky and they both came over like clockwork during the summer months so they could dive into the river since our property had the best access. The husky normally is not a water dog but he followed his partner in crime into the river. He would squat down and come out all muddy. That was my kind of dog! 😉 On a clear day there are 2 mountains within view. Mt Equinox straight ahead that tourist drive up to get a panorama view of the country side. Some claim they can see parts of Albany, NY on a clear day. Since I’m not crazy about wanting to see Albany skyline I’ve never taken a tour up that mountain. The other mountain is huge and wraps around the entire neighborhood its called Red Mountain. It gets its name not only from red foliage in the fall time but every morning when the sun rises the whole mountain turns bright red for a little while ... but you have to be an early riser to appreciate it. Unfortunately, I’m not one who gets up at the crack of dawn. My brother’s vacation home is on the same street (3 houses away) so I do still visit the neighborhood from time to time. You need 4-wheel drive to drive up and down that street. Lol. The neighbor next door where the tree came down is the one who holds Bible Studies. I might rejoin the group ... surely they must be finished with the book of “fel-lay-mon” by now. I’m now living in the “city” and my neighbors are too close for comfort and not one ounce of privacy. I do have a view of a different mountain but the gigantic ugly cell tower just cheapens it ... During the tribulation ... when “every mountain and island move out of there place” ... I feel for the left behind because I can just imagine all the damage that is going to occur ... Boulder, you are an amazing gift! Gods love surrounds you and He never leaves you! What you say brings many of my own personal history to bare. Many believers will experience life at different levels and varied ways. If we are honest with ourselves and fellow believers, the world around us holds much evil, but God! Because of my past, I taught my kids that whenever they feel oppressed or depressed, start immediately to read or quote scripture out loud, walk the perimeter of your living space and state Gods Word, play scripture reflecting songs (many “Christian groups” are not truly singing solid scripture, just saying). Because, evil is ever present, waiting to pounce and devour, but God! That is why I must continually memorize Gods Word, I feel the evil, and it is very oppressive, I also am extreme Sensitive to the wonderful, amazing Grace, love and protection of our Heavenly Father. So take heart, you are certainly among an elite group of “saved by grace” believers. praying His soon return as it is very “any minute” :prayer-hands: It is indeed a blessing to know you and all here at RITAN!
