For years, I've 'felt' Hal Lindsey as the benchmark of the rapture happening ~ ~ Hal Lindsey, at 92 years young, is still actively teaching the Bible and Bible prophecy. Like many believers that are into Bible prophecy, I had my start with his book, “Late Great Planet Earth.” That was back in the early 70’s, though it took until 1981 for “slow to understand” me to finally believe in and accept Jesus Christ as my own Lord and Savior. But the wind has picked up, and it’s beginning to rain. The barometric pressure is dropping. And in the distance, we see a dark, threatening sky. It’s a good time to draw close to the Lord and His word, and to spread that word everywhere. We stand remarkably close to the culmination of this age, and the beginning of something glorious." . . . My goodness, I did not realize that he is 92! We are losing many of the “old guard” at such a rapid pace. I think of JR Church, Jack Van Impe and most recently last week we lost Dr. Ed Hindson!
