So far I have found the battle of Gog/Magog in Joel 2:20 and in the 6th seal in Book of Revelation. Joel 2:20 also gives us the timing of Gog/Magog. It should happen before the autumn rain arrives in November. It also places Gog/Magog in summer. Is there scripture supporting my view that besides Ezekiel, God has also prophesied this event to other prophets? Ezekiel 38:17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? "by my servants the prophets of Israel" Notice that "servants" and "prophets" are in plural form. It means besides Ezekiel, God has also foretold the battle of Gog/Magog to John the servant, Joel the prophet. There is more, I also find this battle from Isaiah and Zechariah. Isaiah 17 lists three sequential events. The first is the destruction of Damascus. Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. The second event I believe is rapture. 7 At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel. What could make these people suddenly change their temperament, suddenly become respectful to God of Israel, and even abandon idols and images. Is it that they see the destruction of Damascus? Or something else which make them change from idol worshipers into believers in God? Seeing a city destroyed is quite common nowadays. It happened to Hiroshima and Nagasaki before, even Berlin in second world war.These events didn't convert people into believing God. The only answer I can think of is the rapture. They saw the rapture and quickly convert themselves into believers in God. The third event is Gog/Magog. 12 Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! These people are come to rob and spoil Israel. This is the same motive we find in Ezekiel 38. Ezekiel 38:11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, 12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; 13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? God shall rebuke these army and chase them as the chaff of mountain. We also find this rebuking and chasing in Ezekiel 38:19-22. Having said this, God was showing the battle of Gog/Magog to Isaiah. 14 And behold at eveningtide trouble; and before the morning he is not. Good news is this battle won't last long. God shall destroy the army of Gog overnight. I agree the G/M war will be super quick 1 day or less and Damascus destruction looks to be overnight. I’m curious of why you link the G/M war to the 6th seal? Is it because there will be a great earthquake, sun becomes black, moon turns to blood, stars fall from heaven and heaven departed as a scroll? Is that from nuclear side effects or will the Lord send fire and brimstone from heaven? 12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. ——————- Do you have any wars occurring during the 2nd seal ... since the rider on the horse is red? Revelation 6 3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. Geri7, Gog/Magog battle begins with the preparation of the war, that includes the massive deployment of armies, tanks, artillery toward the north of Israel. It may take weeks. But God does finish them overnight. Destruction of Damascus is a separate event from Gog/Magog. It precedes Gog/Magog. It is part of Psalm 83 and three shepherds war. Judgment on the 6th seal and Ezekiel 38 are identical. Examples are, earthquake, sun becomes black, moon red, and brimstone. people are afraid and hiding themselves under rock, mountain fallen on them. There'll be combination of nuclear weapons and brimstone used. Here's what I believe brimstone are like. They are meteorites circling above the earth, millions of them. God shall send them to Gog's army. I have attached a video for you. 2nd seal takes away peace from earth. Besides the battle of Gog/Magog in middle east, I do expect war erupted between NK and SK, skirmish between China and US over south China sea, India vs Pakistan, warlords/Taliban in Afghanistan against the government, Iraq uprising, Saudi ve Yemen Houthi, all the trouble spots in the world, also Russia shall seize three Baltic states. Escalation of tribes against tribes in Africa. The nation in nation against nation speaks of certain race, people. They are not country or kingdom. It mat mean civil wars erupted in many places. Yeah I agree lots of wars globally between countries will probably start to erupt during the breaking of the 2nd seal and the rider on the red horse! Perhaps this is also the timeframe when Ethiopia and Egypt start fighting over the drinking waters from the Tower of Syene dam and it gets nuked making the Nile River toxic?
