We can all agree that evil had it's genesis in angelic rebellion!  Then manifested in the hearts of men.

God knowing the beginning from the end, He then chose, ordained and appointed some unto salvation!

Men have then tried to explain evil whenever it was manifested!

The seed of rebellion is found within the heart of man from early on in life!

Whether characterized as an evil seed, generational curse or learned behaviour, the vehicle of evil seems to change from one individual to another!

Apart from us all being born into sin, some will manifest evil from the earliest stages of life.  While some manifest it later!

Against this background, the good news being preached seems somewhat arbitrary at best!

Though individual salvation has already been established and known by God, is the preaching of the Gospel then a means by which Heavenly rewards are gathered?! As well as giving opportunity to declare our allegiance to God?!

Truth be known, many have heard the Gospel message many times over and still refuse to respond!

The seed we are told is good, but the ground is sometimes hostile to germination and growth!

We in the end are not promised results, but are simply rewarded for our labor!

With the injunction to follow the Sprit's leading as we plant the good seed!

I believe that Issiah refers to lucifer as a "trader", whatever that means!  Not having checked the original, perhaps an equivalent term might be traitor!

But the Lord knew his heart was not right!
