Even though I am feeling a quiet sadness, I find it funny that many will say:  "thank God they are gone"!

Only then will they thank God!

Their reaction will depend upon the surrounding circumstances of our leaving. I suspect our departure will be accompanied with calamities and global disruptions on a scale similar to the Flood. If we don't go quietly, as I am guessing we will not, then everyone will be in too much shock to be joking around.

Some will but I would think those who are in close family ties with unsaved loved ones will be grieving the loss.  Especially when the babies and young children under the age of accountability disappear too.

From these verses it looks like the age is 19 and below that are under the age of accountability ... however, I do wonder though if the Lord will not take those in that age group  IF  they show signs of being atheists and/or into devil worship?   I was reading a post of a Christian mom who said it breaks her heart to see her 13 yr old daughter (an atheist) and mocks out both her mother and grandmother’s belief in Jesus and their Bible studies over the phone lines.  Would Jesus still take that rebellious lost 13 yr old at the rapture too?  If not, I’m sure she is in for the shock of her life to get left behind without a mother and grandmother.  Perhaps then she will rethink her beliefs and become a believer?    I would think the rapture event is going to shock and wake up many to become believers and regret they put off the decision during the age of grace.

Exodus 30:14
Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.

Numbers 14:29
Your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me.

Indeed dodging the wrath of God and the evil of Satan and the torments of demons, they will not be happy campers!  Being in the camp of the damned!

These are Old Testament verses and I wonder if they apply during Grace. I always heard the age of accountability was determined on a individual basis due to a persons mental maturity.

Read this (it’s a church sign somewhere):

“The fact that there's a highway to hell and only a stairway to heaven says a lot about anticipated traffic numbers.“

We are among the few on that road .... be alert, be ready, God would that non should perish, but that ALL would come to salvation through His son Jesus Christ.
