On Thursday, the former Democratic congresswoman from Hawaii, Tulsi Gabbard, told Sean Hannity that she worries about the future of free speech and liberty in the United States as the Biden administration grows increasingly aggressive in its pursuit of political censorship. She said, “ think that’s what is personally so troubling to me about these threats and attacks on our freedoms that are rooted in our Constitution, that are rooted in our identity as Americans.” She continued, “Freedom needs to mean something to us all.” The former congresswoman expressed this concern a day after White House press secretary Jen Psaki called on Spotify to restrict speech and stop the spread of “misinformation.” Psaki said, on Wednesday, “Our hope is that all major tech platforms — and all major news sources, for that matter — be responsible and be vigilant to ensure the American people have access to accurate information on something as significant as COVID-19, And that certainly includes Spotify.” Psaki’s statements indicate that the White House is willing to utilize its political capital to pressure corporations into silencing voices that the Biden administration feels are not amplifying the proper message. Regarding this push for censorship, Gabbard told Hannity that “we will have a dictatorship that is controlling what people are allowed to hear, what we’re allowed to see.” That same night, she told Tucker Carlson, “This fundamental freedom guaranteed to every one of us as Americans, this freedom of speech, is being threatened. People are being intimidated; their financial security is being threatened. They’re being censored or they’re being intimidated into censoring themselves.” YouTube Deleted This Trump Interview After it Went Viral… On Wednesday, President Donald J. Trump was interviewed for a very popular and trending podcast, for their most recent episode of the YouTube prank squad Nelk Boys’ podcast, called Full Send Podcast. “Censorship is here and they’re not even trying to hide it anymore,” Kyle Forgeard, a spokesman for the group posted on Twitter, on Thursday after their video of Trump was demolished. Within hours the podcast had received 5 Million views, according to the Full Send Podcast crew. That is about the time that Youtube took the video down. Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America: Whatever happened to free speech in our Country? Incredibly, but not surprisingly, the Big Tech lunatics have taken down my interview with the very popular NELK Boys so that nobody can watch it or in any way listen to it. In the 24 hours that it was up, it set every record for them, by many times. Interestingly on the show I told them this would happen because Big Tech and the Fake News Media fear the truth, they fear criticism about Biden, and above all, they don’t want to talk about the Rigged 2020 Presidential Election, all topics discussed. In Russia, the people are not allowed to know that they’re fighting a war with Ukraine, that’s where our media is going, and that’s where our Country is going because it quickly follows—just study history. Are we going to allow this to happen? Our Country is going to hell! Look at your gas prices, Inflation, the Afghanistan debacle, our Border, the war with Ukraine, which should have never happened, and so much more. We need freedom of speech again, we don’t have it and it’s getting worse every day! GWP reported: “This is who they are. They can’t let the most popular president in history appear likable, funny, and cool." So they deleted the video. The NELK Boys tweeted this out earlier today. Here is the full NELK Boys interview with President Trump on Rumble. [Note: some bad language by the NELK Boys after the interview ends. I found the video on the link below but later it disappeared, so watch it now or else maybe reload from the Republic Brief or find it on Rumble?] https://republicbrief.com/youtube-deleted-this-trump-interview-after-it-went-viral/ China Enacts Law Banning Most Online Christian Content: The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has activated measures to drastically restrict the availability of Christian content on the internet, Open Doors reported this week. Without express government permission, no organization or individual “shall preach on the Internet, carry out religious education and training, publish sermon content, forward or link to related content, organize and conduct religious activities on the Internet, or live broadcast or post recorded videos of religious rituals,” the CCP declared at the time. The new measures went into force on March 1 and the effects are already being felt by Christians throughout China, reported Open Doors, which monitors Christian persecution around the globe. Over the last two years, “online church meetings have become the new normal,” Open Doors noted, citing an anonymous Chinese Christian. “This new law now brings the church’s extensive use of the internet for evangelism and spiritual nourishment to a halt. Consequently, Christians will be cut off from access to online spiritual resources.” Christians have already begun abandoning religious chat groups and deleting religious content from their social media profiles to avoid unwanted attention from officials. “We have already observed that in our area, online meetings with a large number participating have ‘disappeared’,” Open Doors added, citing a Christian leader in southern China. Zuck’s War: Facebook Okays Calls for Violence Against Russians: Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, sent an email to employees of both social media platforms informing them that calls for violence against Russians and Russian soldiers will temporarily be allowed, according to a report by Reuters. The social media company is also temporarily allowing some posts that call for death to Russian President Vladimir Putin or Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, according to internal emails to its content moderators. “As a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we have temporarily made allowances for forms of political expression that would normally violate our rules like violent speech such as ‘death to the Russian invaders.’ We still won’t allow credible calls for violence against Russian civilians,” a Meta spokesperson said in a statement. The Russian embassy in the United States blasted the far-left Silicon Valley company in the wake of Reuters’ report. “Users of Facebook & Instagram did not give the owners of these platforms the right to determine the criteria of truth and pit nations against each other,” said the Russian embassy in a tweeted statement. Journalist Glenn Greenwald criticized the Masters of the Universe, pointing out it should not be up to Mark Zuckerberg and a small group of other tech executives to decide “when we can advocate violence against certain people and when we can’t.” The CCP has picked the wrong enemy to declare war on. Almighty God and His called out ones will triumph in the end. May our Heavenly Father protect and encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ. :prayer-hands:
