Ezekiel's 430 years prophecy

Ezekiel 4:5 For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. 6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.

From prophet Ezekiel,we learn that God has numbered the iniquity of Israel and Judah for a period of 430 years. The question is, in Israel and Judah history, when did God begin to see their iniquity? Does it begin from king David when he became king in 1010 BC? Or is it from the time he committed adultery? But we learn that God sees David as a righteous person and has already forgiven his sin.

So,does it begin with Solomon?

Solomon became king in 970 BC. In his fourth year 966 BC, in the second month, he began to build God's temple (1 Kings 6:1). The construction lasted 7 years (1 Kings 6:38). It was in year 959 BC the eighth month that the temple was complete. In the following year 958 BC, in the seventh month, he dedicated the temple by observing feast of tabernacle with all his people ( 1 King 8:2). Then he began to construct his palaces. The construction lasted 13 years and in year 945 BC his palaces were complete ( 1 Kings 7:1). In the same year 945 BC, God appeared to Solomon, and had this to say to him;

1 Kings 9:1 And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the LORD, and the king's house, and all Solomon's desire which he was pleased to do, 2 That the LORD appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon. 3 And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. 4 And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: 5 Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

6 But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them: 7 Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people: 8 And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house? 9 And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil.

Did Solomon obey God, and not followed other gods? The answer is no.

1 Kings 11:1 But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites; 2 Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love. 3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.

In the year Solomon finished his palaces, God appeared to him, and forth warned him not to follow other gods. But because he loved strange women more than he loved God, his heart was turned away by them, and followed their gods.

The year 945 BC is very significant. This is the year God appeared to Solomon and gave forth His warning. God can foresee what those palaces would do for Solomon, which is used by Solomon to house his 700 wives, princesses, and 300 concubines. These women shall turn his heart away and lead him to follow other gods. The iniquity of Israel and Judah began in year 945 BC.

And God's word never fails. Since then,Solomon's kingdom was divided into two. The northern kingdom Israel lasted until 720 BC, while Judah survived until 586 BC, and faced her annihilation in that year, with temple being utterly destroyed. Since 586 BC, they have lost their sovereignty status as a nation. Even though they came back to their land in 538 BC,they were under the rule of gentiles nations.

From 945 BC to 586 BC, 359 years have gone by. That leaves a 71 years of their iniquity waiting to be fulfilled ( 430 years minus 359 years ).

Miraculously, Israel came back as a sovereign nation again in 1948. But since they haven't come to recognize Jesus as their Messiah yet, the iniquity clock began to tick again. Concerning when we should add the 71 years remaining iniquity to Israel, I choose 1949. It is because between 1948 and 1949, they were fighting their Independence War. The war ended on July 20 1949 when the last armistice agreement was signed with Syria. Since then, they finally enjoyed their peace and settlement began. Adding 71 years to 1949 July 20, we come to 2020 summer. In 2020 summer time, the 430 years iniquity of Israel and Judah shall come to it's fullest. God's patience shall run out with His people Israel,by ushering in the 7 years tribulation,to purge them,to refine them, in order to bring them to Jesus.

Last time when I wrote Ezekiel 430 years prophecy, I forgot Solomon has waited one year to dedicate the temple. He didn't dedicate the temple right away after it's completion in the eighth month of 959 BC. Rather, he waited one year, in the following year 958 BC, in the seventh month to dedicate the temple. This is why on my new edition of Ezekiel 430 years prophecy, there is a one year difference from my last calculation.

And it is common belief that he did not begin to build his palaces until he finished God's temple first.

Benson commentary

1 Kings 7:1. Solomon was building his own house — The royal palace, for himself and for his successors, which he did not begin to build till he had finished the house of God, that nothing might hinder that holy work,

Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary

7:1-12 All Solomon's buildings, though beautiful, were intended for use. Solomon began with the temple; he built for God first, and then his other buildings.

He began to build his own palaces after the dedication of the temple in 958 BC. Adding 13 years, his palaces was complete in 945 BC.

Good news is if this calculation is correct, 430 years iniquity of Israel and Judah shall come to it's fullest this year. 7 years tribulation will begin soon. So is the rapture!!!
