Great input, thanks David. Many of the mods are seasoned and studied Christians. Always seeking their input. Indeed the point was made about the Rapture occurring between the 69th and 70th week of Daniel. Though this is certainly true, it speaks more about God's dealings with the Church of Christ rather than it's timing. IMHO My point in all of this, is that the Rapture of the Church is a unique dispensation afforded us by the Father. Jesus who always submitted to the Father's will and always tried to imitate His Father is being honored by the Father. The Father had/has a love affair with Israel and has extended Himself in many ways and times towards them. Likewise the Father has granted the Son to have his own love affair with His Church, and Christ extends himself towards her as well. Like Father, like Son! Without getting too deep or diverse into scholarly pursuits, it is my hope that we as lovers of Christ would better appreciate the Rapture for the unique gift that it is, as opposed to being obsessed with only it's timing. To understand it's timing is a holy pursuit but greater still, I choose to marvel and glory in Christ's unique love towards His Church and His gift of the Rapture! TR
