End time jitters is the best way I can explain the emotional state of "watchers" today.

Timelines continue to surface, and once again dates come and go!

The only thing I can't seem to figure out is why the Church needs to be here to see what it has???  We have not argued with any end-time scenario the Bible has presented.  Quite the contrary we look forward to them.

So then why is it so critical for the Church to be present to witness all that has happened already?!  Why must we experience the labor pains of the world when we are not of the world???

We don't need further convincing, for end-time "watchers" are already convinced that these are the last days, and that the Rapture is soon upon us?!

The question then becomes, what could be God's motivation for tarrying for His Bride?  Is not the Church around the world already experiencing persecution?  Must it truly be universally experienced?  And if so, what need would this satisify in God's heart?

Whether we remain for three months or three years, what's the difference?

I'll be the first to say His will, not ours!  But what then are we missing?!  Any thoughts?

It also seems to me to be a wash of sorts.  Some enter the kingdom, some leave the kingdom??? Cry

I think the church is still here because the Holy Spirit in us is restraining the flood gates of wickedness from exploding until that very last believer gets saved.  I’m surprised we are still here though.

I find it weird how so many believers are not watchers and alert and still think this world is a fantastic place.  I just don’t get that they don’t have the wisdom to see how dark and evil this world has become and that its ripe for judgement.

Consider Job 38:1-3...

Then consider Job 42:1-6.

Just sayin'

God knows when the Rapture will take place, He seats Kings and governments, He knows the end from the beginning already.

So in our minds with the decreasing state of the world, it seems that He is tarrying. We are moving forward to a single point in time (the Rapture), that point in time is fixed, not moving away or continuously being moved to match world events.

Indeed, I guess what I'm getting to the heart of is that I disagree with the long held popular belief that God is waiting for "that last soul" before the Rapture mentality.

We know that God would that none perish, yet many shall.  We know that during the Tribulation period there will be an unequaled harvest of souls for the kingdom.  As many shall be brought into eternal life.

We fully acknowledge that God sees beyond our time frame, and that even before the foundations were laid, this one day in history had already been set aside!  Nothing ever seems to indicate that this was to be predicated upon a singular and finite number of souls?!

So then in an effort to understand the Lord's heart and thought process, I pose questions such as these.  Hardly, for the purpose of playing the part of Job!

And as we have seen the Lord orchestrate the days of time with such astounding perfection, what then could be the motivating factor for choosing that one day above all others?

And indeed, as in all things, we must trust in the Lord in all things!  Rest assured, there is not an ounce of disputation with His plans and choices, He is the mighty Sovereign!

Yet my curiousity continues....in light of the many God inspired declarations of His soon coming!

Perhaps the delay in the waiting is also due to the fact the world hast to have the technology in place to roll out ... the mark of the beast chip/stamp, surveillance equipment, A.I. robots and the G/M armies have to be in agreement and merge as 1 massive force.       Since we are now seeing it all coming together ... we got to be sooo close to flying away!!!

"We know that during the Tribulation period there will be an unequaled harvest of souls for the kingdom."

The above quote is why I believe the church is still here.  So much is being done right now through Christian TV and radio, plus efforts of churches and individuals to evangelize worldwide.  There may come a time when the people are so jaded they will no longer listen to evangelism attempts and it will take the Coming of the Lord at the rapture to shock them into reality.  Only God can tell when that tipping point comes when the people by and large are no longer listening and the church's evangelism attempts are not prospering.  Whatever point that is that will bring the biggest endtime harvest is where I believe God's concern is and when the rapture will happen.

Thanks for all your input.  Again, I seek a better understanding of the Lord's heart and His ways!

My hope is always in the Lord Jesus. As I read the news go from website to another I admit I do not understand all the information of days and feast. However being a Christian from the sixties and being blessed to have found those not afraid to teach the end times nothing comes even close, not even the blood moons that I'm seeing now. I do not know if it will be in the next months, I simply do not know, but from all I have been taught and seen I am sure we are in the last days before the rapture. I will keep looking up and try my best to pray without ceasing. I want to go home so bad, this world has nothing I want.
