Hopefully some news item or teaching will seal the deal for us!

Perhaps a large cross will appear in the sky just before the trumpet?!

Or a triple rainbow?

That sounds lovely!  A cross  and rainbow! :good:   And perhaps we will hear the beautiful music of violins being played in heaven?    I’ve read a few death bed testimonies of believers who said they can hear the beautiful music of heaven while the others in the room didn’t.  I have a great grandfather (never met) but my aunt was a little girl at the time and as they surrounded his bedside she told me she recalls him saying do you hear the beautiful music and he was at peace and said death is nothing to fear.  So my take is someone must have shared the Gospel with him while at work and he became a believer because my aunt didn’t get saved until the 1970’s and then shared the Gospel to the rest of us.

The day my dad died I woke up to out of this world soothing music (didn’t recognize the song) just violins in a huge orchestra playing.  I was puzzled because I was sleeping on the sofa in the family room and the tv wasn’t on, nor did I have my radio alarm clock in that room. I just listened and felt this unbelievable peace and calmness.  It lasted for a few minutes.  Then later that day I got word my dad died at the rehab center and I connected the dots back to what occurred that morning.  I believe the Lord was comforting and reassuring me that my dad made heaven because he suffered the last 5 yrs of his life from dementia and couldn’t remember things from 1970’s to the present.  His mind could only remember his childhood - his early 20’s. Since he got saved in the 1970’s he struggled often thinking he wasn’t saved.  So I kept reading Scriptures to him and he would pray to Jesus to save him.  He would also listen to John Hagee and when he would give the invitation at the end of his messages ... my dad would raise his hand up like the others in the congregation and then would repeat the prayer.  I also found a few Bible Tracts in the house ... on the back side he would try to write his name on the back side with his unsteady hand ... the words were wiggly but I could still read it ... his name with I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior and he would also check off the box for more literature. 😉

So I’m hoping we hear the awesome music of heaven as a heads up notice to get ready for

Not sure there will be a “sign” in the heavens or our hearts before the trumpet, but having witnessed both non-believers and believers die; the difference is evident ... one dear lady, kept saying “look, do you see ?Him, wonderful” - with believers, there was always a sense of calm and peace in the room, at least I felt that! I am so ready to just go .... very battle worn for sure! Looking forward to perfect righteousness all around ... :prayer-hands:

The fact that we are all convinced this may truly be it, speaks volumes!

Right or wrong, we are ever nearer my God to thee!

TR - isn’t that like a very old song? Nearer my God to thee .... 1700 or so! How about “Just over the Hill Side” (not a mansion, but many rooms) or some such —- might try a brief time to sing with the heavenly choir before I start my jetting around the universe to visit all that our Father created —- So excited, hard to stay focused on the day to day dol-drum —- One of my verses for today Colossians 3:1-4 “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.“ gives for a great prayer and meditation, especially verse 4. :prayer-hands:

Of course, Yohanan. You may certainly disagree with the possibility that I'm wrong.
