I suspect, John, that fewer scholars hold to the proposal about the Springtime lambing season than the Trumpets proposal, but I might be wrong. :unsure: Lambing season makes good sense as you propose, but so does the Fall proposal. I suppose it would be simple for God to induce a few shepherds out to the fields at night at any time of year to become witnesses. A multitude of them wouldn't be needed. We'll likely be able to know soon enough, but it probably won't be very high on my list of questions. Oh I’m one who would love to know His real birthday ... then I’m hoping we all can celebrate Christmas in Heaven. :yes: I can just picture the golden streets and worship hall all decked out with Christmas decorations. Singing Christmas hymns to Him while others share their musical talents. :whistle: Then having a banquet feast in the outdoor gardens. Since Jesus owns everything, we would have to be VERY invented in our unique homemade gifts. I can see artists painting beautiful pictures and those who want to paint but not at that high level yet .. perhaps there are paint by number kits? 😉 Baking special cakes and cookies. Those who have talent in knitting or crocheting are busy making a sweater, scarf or hat? Anything can happen from this point on! I agree with Dan and his take. I'll let politics and spiritual realities work themselves out! Simply put, if it ain't the Rapture, I don't care what happens next or in which succession! Time will certainly reveal soon enough if we are indeed in sync with Heaven's timetable of events!!! I am telling everyone I can that Rapture is not near, but here! TR No more disappointments, just surprises! Christ the door will open Heaven to receive us! Counting the days, hours, minutes! However it all plays out, may God be glorified! I’m going to have to politely disagree with you on that one. Politics and world affairs have lost interest for me, it is what it is and will be what it will be! I have lost interest in guessing about a variety of concepts that are often debated among believers. My heart and soul just seem to be holding breath ... waiting, watching, expecting! I go to work and just go through the motions, only when I get the chance to speak about the Lord do I feel alive — we had a Zoom meeting today and they asked me to do the opening reflection, I prayed in Jesus name (allowed in my Catholic hospital :)) ...watching, waiting, praying, expecting to hear a trumpet! In regard to all the happenings ... weather, earthquakes, wars, rumors of wars, politics, disease, pestilence..... no fear, just faith; no worry, just worship .... Whether tonight, next week, next month, next year ... we are so close, it’s like the door is ready to open and Gods timing is perfect, I pray that Gods Will works through me daily .... we are going home, listen for the still small voice and rest in Him as we actively wait and watch! :prayer-hands:
