This ecumenical movement began long time ago with Pope John Paul II. Pope Francis continues this movement. This ecumenical movement shall reach it's climax when Daniel 11:27 is fulfilled. Daniel 11:27 And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed. RCC shall unite with Islam and forms a one world religion when king of the north / AC conspires with king of the south / the false prophet against God. But God has this words "it shall not prosper". The way I see it ... Catholicism is a big can of worms. From the get go Dark Ages/Middle Ages many of the church followers either couldn’t read or they didn’t know Latin, Greek or Hebrew so they were easily deceived. During the Reformation, William Tyndale translated the Bible to English and he was considered a major threat to the Catholic church so they executed him via setting him on fire. The pope/priest down through the ages discouraged their followers from reading the Bible claiming they will not understand it. People tend to be lazy and just took their word for it so that set the stage for the mind control and false teaching to take over. Yes, they do believe Jesus is the Son of God and that He was born of a virgin and died and rose again, however, they don’t pray directly to Him. They only have a head knowledge belief and never made Jesus personal or Lord in their life. Instead they elevate and pray to Mary (via the rosary) and think she is co-Redeemer. When they go to confession they bear all their sins to the priest and then he instructs them to say the “Hail Mary” Rosary and Our Father sample prayer so many times and to good works to have those sins removed. Everything is based on man’s merit to wipe that slate clean. Matt 6:7 “And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.” So today you have some faithful that still follow their dogma church doctrine. Since they are already deceived they will transition easily into the New World Religion agenda because they have been programmed that whatever the pope says is true because they believe the pope is the Vicar of Jesus Christ on earth. Then you have those who were, unfortunately, abused by the priest or the nuns. They have left the Catholic faith and are bitter and became the atheist crowd. I can see them rejecting and fighting against the New World Religion system because bitterness usually doesn’t leave a person unless they become Born Again and Holy Spirit works in their life. I wonder if perhaps some of these atheists actually might become the tribulation saints when the AC and False Prophet take over? Or will they refuse to obey and be mixed in the same group with the Tribulation Saints that get beheaded? :unsure: According to Book of Maccabees, they recorded Kislev 15 167 BC as the day the abomination occurred. In my timeline, I have abomination occur on Kislev 20 2023. They both occur in the ninth month, almost on the same date. Looks like tragedy shall fall on Israel in the ninth month again.
