Well, this tool is going to be mighty handy for the AC and his 10 kings .... after the rapture they can easily take over the internet with their one-sided mind control lies.   I’ve heard some Christians hope that perhaps the Christian forum boards will stay up for a little while so the left behind can at least read and understand what really happened to us.  But the way it looks now ... A.I. could shut them all down fairly quickly and any searches of where we have gone ... will probably say the aliens took us away so they believe the big lie.

'Dangerous' AI offers to write fake news

An artificial intelligence system that generates realistic stories, poems and articles has been updated, with some claiming it is now almost as good as a human writer.

The text generator, built by research firm OpenAI, was originally considered "too dangerous" to make public because of the potential for abuse.

But now a new, more powerful version of the system - that could be used to create fake news or abusive spam on social media - has been released.

The BBC, along with some AI experts, decided to try it out.

The model, called GPT-2, was trained on a dataset of eight million web pages, and is able to adapt to the style and content of the initial text given to it.

It can finish a Shakespeare poem as well as write articles and epithets.

At the time, the firm said: "Due to our concerns about malicious applications of the technology, we are not releasing the trained model. As an experiment in responsible disclosure, we are instead releasing a much smaller model for researchers to experiment with."

As a result, the released version had far fewer parameters - phrases and sentences - than used during training.

This month, OpenAI decided to expand the parameters, offering a much broader database of training data.

Tech news site The Next Web said of the update: "This one works almost good enough to use as a general artificial intelligence for text generation - almost."

Article author Tristan Greene added: I'm terrified of GPT-2 because it represents the kind of technology that evil humans are going to use to manipulate the population - and in my opinion that makes it more dangerous than any gun."

Great Article, Geri7.    Just recently there was another article; same topic, showed pictures of AI robots/newscasters which look like real people.  The article showed a man and a women. Eerily/uncanny how human-like they appeared.  Perhaps they are already intermingled with the main stream media today!     I agree; definitely it will be easy to delude the masses, TR!

We are living in a time where people are already so easily deceived and eager to believe any irrational and illogical information that feeds their bias.

Such interesting, scary but comforting and amazing prophetic times in which we live!  Thank God for his word and for providing a map for us so we would understand the times in which we live.  He told us before hand so we would believe.  By believing we can be a light and provide hope for those who know not.:yahoo:

Okay, how many of us would suspect it if AI had actually co-opted Geri7?  Hmmmm....  How could she prove it's really her?

Hmmm ... that is a creepy and scary thought of AI impersonating us!  Well ... if I’m all of a sudden writing my love for coffee and preparing all kinds fish meals you know its not the true me!   Got a hunch A.I. is not programmed to talk about Jesus or the rapture  .... the memory board will probably malfunction or explode.   Or if it does ... it won’t be talking about Jesus in a loving way while all the other apostate false religious leaders will be highly esteemed.  So for now ... its safe to say we are not robots talking/writing to one another just yet.

With that said .... tonight I’m planning on making a sumptuous tuna broccoli casserole, a side dish of fried shrimp, a small cup of clam chowder soup with an Italian Lobster Tail pastry for dessert.  I will be washing it all down with a fresh brewed cup of cappuccino while wearing my rosary beads and watching the youtube of pope Francis’ holy mass so I receive his blessing. B-)

P.S.  on a serious note ... the last paragraph truly gags me ... except for the Italian Lobster Tail pastry!  Yum!
