US Senate Votes 57-40 to Pass Rand Paul’s Bill to End Transportation and Airplane Mask Mandate: Thank You, Senator Rand Paul! Joe Biden’s handlers are threatening to veto the bill. Measure Number: S.J.Res. 37 ‘Dictator in chief’ Dr. Fauci’s power to be limited by Rand Paul’s amendment: There may have been no news of Dr. Anthony Fauci lately, but at least one Republican is taking steps to avoid the same bureaucratic tyranny he exhibited during the past two years by attempting to strip him of his unchecked and unaccountable authority. Rand Paul, who has clashed frequently with a man who rejects American principles such as individual liberty, plans to introduce legislation to remove Fauci from his position as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and redistribute his authority among three new institutes. Paul wrote in a Monday article for Fox News, “The toll of COVID doesn’t stop there. We lost more than individuals. We lost our freedoms. Our liberties. Our vibrant small-town Main Streets. Our children’s growth and learning. For two years our lives were held captive by petty tyrants and power-hungry bureaucrats.” “We’ve learned a lot over the past two years, but one lesson in particular is that no one person should be deemed “dictator in chief.” No one person should have unilateral authority to make decisions for millions of Americans,” he continued. “No one person should have the sole authority to dictate science, especially when that one person wasn’t ever following the science. “A rational person might ask, how in the world did it take us so long to get to the truth? Why did we spend two years not following the science?” Paul continued, “Well again, that’s what happens when “the science” is dictated by one man, an unelected bureaucrat with far too much power.” As Ryan Kelly reported for Republic Brief in January, “the 80-year-old has been the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984 and will make about $2.5 million as the president’s chief medical adviser if he serves until 2024. In the federal government, he is the highest-paid official, earning $434,312 as head of NIAID, while Biden earns $400,000. When he retires, Fauci’s pension will be the largest in US history, exceeding $350,000 per year.” https://republicbrief.com/dictator-in-chief-dr-faucis-power-to-be-limited-by-rand-pauls-amendment/ Oh, definitely. You'll notice at the bottom of the article that this guy is as liberal as they come and a committed democrat. I was more throwing it out there for public ridicule, more than anything. You are correct in stating that the man does not understand the gospel. His line of reasoning fits better with the Communist manifesto. I've never heard of Obery M. Hendricks Jr., a religion professor at Columbia University. Could be interpreted as he is a nobody. "These folk are not fulfilling their gospel responsibility. They're violating it. They're spitting in the face of it," "It's anti-biblical. It's anti-Christian. And I'll go farther … what we see reflected in their attitudes and their actions and their pronouncements is what 1 John calls the spirit of antichrist." He is evidently ignorant or misinformed at best regarding mask issue. And, he neither understands the Gospel nor applies it correctly. Also, he possibly committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. So, I would just ignore him. So Ready, your answer: "yeah, whatever" to Arthur's post about the professor who says Christians who refuse to wear masks are showing the spirit of the AC is very funny. How else can we respond to such silliness?
The US Senate just passed Republican Senator Rand Paul’s repeal of the mask mandate on the public transportation. The vote passed: Yea 57–NAY 40.
Measure Title: A joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention relating to “Requirement for Persons To Wear Masks While on Conveyances and at Transportation Hubs."
