I agree that people often use someone's weight as a way to insult someone. Even if it has nothing to do with a disagreement with someone. It's a societal double standard that needs to end, yeah.

I suppose in this case, the subject is combat readiness, though. If he is willing to fire someone for "not being combat ready" then as a leader, he needs to be combat ready. I could be wrong, of course, but he doesn't look likely to pass the physical test required for his underlings.

Sorry to have stirred up a hornets nest with that post … I never meant for it to be offensive with his weight … my focused was on the fact of his unfair actions of firing 45 trained and able marines and 2 navy people in ruining their lives and putting our country in harms way.

Geri, you didn't do anything wrong. I needed to vent about the way people behave with someone who has a weight problem and I am happy to see people agreeing.
