This is essentially unenforceable. They are just trying to intimidate and bluff and hope that more people will roll over and get the poisonous cocktail.

Private gatherings are none of the government's business. (Not that public gatherings should be either.)

Oh wow Arthur, that's terrible about the restrictions on private home gatherings in BC. One thing I had been thinking about the restrictions on the unVaxxed happening here in Australia, is that at least I can still attend my grandchildren's family birthday celebrations held at their home and also have my children and grandchildren all gather here on Christmas Day. But whenever I hear about the nightmarish stuff happening overseas, I wonder if the government leaders here are observing that and considering whether to make that happen here, too. Currently, the daily numbers of diagnosed Covid cases are absolutely sky-rocketing in the southern states and are predicted to do the same in my state, now that the borders are open again. And yet, the vast majority of Australians are now double-Vaxxed, so why can't people do the math and realise that the Vaxx doesn't work?? The way things stand at the moment, people can only enter my state if they have had a negative Covid test result in the last 72 hours before crossing the border. My daughter, husband, and her two children who live in a southern state are planning to come up here to visit us for Christmas and have booked their flights, but it hangs in the balance all because of that test. Plus we are being warned that Omicron is "much more contagious" than Delta and we're all going to get it, so we'd better darn well get that booster. I think I would much rather be a pariah imprisoned in my home for the rest of my life than risk getting Myocarditis, limbs needing to be amputated because of blood clots, Bell's Palsy, seizure disorder, destroyed immunity, etc. etc. etc. plus whatever other things can be added to that list.

The darker it gets, the brighter His Light shines.

I'm just grateful to be counted among the redeemed and to be called a child of God. :yahoo:

Praying for Australia. I think you have it much worse then we do. :prayer-hands:

Whatever the case, let us bear each other's burdens and rejoice in God's salvation. :thankyou

My wife had back surgery in Nov and 5 weeks later got sick. It appears to be a cold. Neither of us are vaccinated. She had to take a covid test once back in Sept for the surgery. She tested neg and the next day they cancelled the surgery due to not doing any surgery's that required overnight hospital stays. When they rescheduled her surgery, they did not require another covid test.

Now I have some kind of weird crud, slight cough, on and off fever, like the flu. Anyway, I will not go for a covid test. I am scheduled for rotator cuff surgery in January. Still looking for the rapture any time, but I will endure as His Grace is sufficient for me. May God Bless and keep all my RITAN family.

Well we knew this was going to happen sooner than later.  Being a blue state I'm sure they'll implement it.   First unvaccinated - then what - those who believe that Jesus is their Lord and Savior because we're a risk?   The US is sounding more and more like North Korea.  Father get us out of this place.

If a liberal state like New York is doing that then Canada, which is a liberal cesspool, can't be far behind in imposing tyrranical measures like that. :negative:

Maranatha, Lord Yeshua! :prayer-hands:

i was so sick of having bc's question box come up asking if they could answer general questions about covid, that this time I took them up on it. i kept asking what the survival rate is. it says a combination of

"I'm sorry if I can't help you.

I am only trained to answer COVID-19 related questions."

and

"To measure how a disease is spreading in a population, scientists track how many other people are likely to become infected from a single case over time. This is called the reproductive rate or Rt value. You can find the latest R value in the BCCDC's summary of key trends.

Source: BCCDC"

but it doesn't reply about survival rate.

BC's new requirements:
