Grider’s insistence that the KJV is the ONLY acceptable version is sheer non-sense. He claims that all other translations are basically error prone. In many cases I agree but certainly not in all cases. Grider doesn’t seem to understand linguistics. Some translations try to translate the Greek and Hebrew word for word while others, thought for thought. In the KJV there are verses that are not in earlier and better manuscripts. Some theologians believe these were added in because earlier scholars had made notes in the side panes of their Bibles. For instance, Mark chapter 9 verses 44 & 46 are not in the better manuscripts:

Mark 9:44 where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’

Mark 9:46 where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’

There are other verses as well.

Grider treats the KJV with near worship status. Folks, we are not to worship the Bible. We are to worship it’s Author! While I agree that there are some terrible translations, The Message being one of them, and I’m not at all a fan of the NIV, there are some excellent versions worthy of being called Holy Bible. Two that I use are the New Revised Standard Version and the American Standard Version. I also use the NKJV as well as the 1611 KJV. No one will ever be able to convince me that God stopped communicating with us in 1611. With all the “dreams” and “revelations” and self appointed prophets that appear today that no one ever seems to question, why is it so hard to believe that God did not give us a better understanding of His Word with todays language? Find me one person who speaks the Kings English of 1611.

Yohanan, how nice for someone to be mentioning these things. I totally agree. Many times he even comes across as offensive to Christians who don't have the KJB. His obsession is fanatical. It is tiring how he has to bring it up with almost every other post. (if not all of them) I have stopped going to his website.

Thank you for the explanation regarding the linguistics.

Excellent warning movie … sad how they will easily deceive and draw the left behind in these “safe” communities but its nothing more than a  prison planet cell with a small balcony.   Reminds me of the Holocaust all over again but with high tech big brother monitoring spyware and police force drones and being fed bugs and toxic man made lab meat.  I wonder why bother going thru all this trouble preparing these “safe” prison communities if the people aren’t going to be allowed to work, etc. And to give those who fit the credit scores electronic money but then have all these payment deduction fees and only have peanuts left to live on and must spend within a few days or it gets wiped out of your account?  Sounds so realistic indeed.  What is the purpose that these high up elites that are for this GREAT RESET get out suppressing the lifestyle of the average Jane or Joe?  Will they get joy and feel powerful?  Or are they only using the Janes and Joes as guinea pigs and experiments?   I feel for the left behind and yet if you share this warning youtube with them they will probably laugh and think we are REALLY crazy.

We are not far from that scenario.
