I'm an American and I never heard of a tea table so I looked it up.

The main distinction between a tea table and a coffee table is that a coffee table is a small, rectangular table placed in front of a living room sofa. On the other hand, a tea table is a high, round table that is commonly positioned near a sofa or tables and chairs to serve visitors with a tea-drinking set.

Love those elves, Geri! We're all new creations of course, but our ancestries are so interesting. To think we'll meet many of those people soon... My French ancestors also fled to South Africa due to persecution from the Catholics. The British arrived here soon after we discovered gold and diamonds, and the result was a devastating war in 1899. My grandfather was born in a British concentration camp, because the Brits burnt down all our farms and rounded up the women and children. Apparently it's a miracle that he survived. We forgive them!

Tammie, your ancestors are fascinating! Just wondering if Geri has Mafia connections... :mdrmdr:
