I am filled with idea that prior to our departure there will be a calm or quietness in the heavenlies.  Not exactly sure what purpose would be served, but I suspect that God will become quiet after we enter our prayer closets.  Our prayers will seem to hit the ceiling as it were.  God's way of saying, trust in Me I have everything covered.

Does this make sense to anyone else?!

Not withdrawing His Spirit, but rather subdue His Spirit.  This is a new thought for me, as such I'm trying to navigate if this be from the Lord or not.    Any ideas?

Yes, that makes sense because when Noah and his family and the animals entered the ark it was relatively calm ... no violent rain storm while still boarding ...

I’ve been pondering the clouds ... do you think there will be total cloud coverage around the whole world as a heads up notice or only a massive bunch of clouds in the Northern Hemisphere when the Lord calls His church home?

In response to your Holy Spirit question ... yes I can see that happening because the Restrainer will stop restraining ...

There certainly seems to be a lull right now... like a vast melancholy has descended over the church as a whole... most are sleeping and those of us watching are struggling to hang on...

I am talking about something more than just a slow down of prophetic fulfillment.  I believe that it will become something more individual and personal.  Once again, in our quiet times when we meet with the Lord, though not forsaken, there will be a withdrawal of interaction.

Trust and faith will be our rudder as opposed to direct fellowship by His Spirit!  Or so it seems to me.  Should this be the case, we are for-warned that we should not despair or fear.  He has not left us but has chosen to become more silent.

Once again, this is just something that I feel in my spirit.

TR, brother you might be onto something, our faith is stronger in adversity. We always quote the end of this verse but just look what Jesus said in verse one...

John 14:1-3 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.“

A verse that goes around my head a lot lately is Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Mostly “the peace of God is with you and believe in God, believer also in me”...over and over in my head, I’ve wondered at this all week. There is a great sense of calm. Do you also feel like tilting your head ever so slightly to hear better, like your spirit is listening intently for something and there is a sense of wait for it, wait for it....

praying it is so :prayer-hands:

Yes Geri7 , I've also pondered the prospect of a universal cloud cover at the time of the Rapture.  I suppose it could happen, as the Word tells us that we shall all meet Him in the clouds. But would that really be necessary.

One, depending on where we lived on the Earth and given an adequate height we could all just simply be angled in our trajectory.

Two, couldn't they be clouds of glory hidden from those left behind?!  As to this quietness that I've spoken of, perhaps this will be a last opportunity for us to gather rewards?!
