Yeah, it's me in a hammock. :whistle: In reply to Almost Home's post, I read this article on another website and was surprised to discover that it said totally different things than what we are hearing on our U.S. news. Specifically, the part about them going door to door in Crimea and asking if they would vote to come back to Russia. The people there are almost all of Russian descent. A referendum was held and about 90% said they did want to return to Russia. The EU and US refused to accept those results, calling the Crimea action an "invasion." After that two other parts of Ukraine, Luhansk and Donetsk, wanted to also go to Russia but Ukraine would not allow it and sent troops. Heavy fighting ensued. For the four years of the Trump administration, things quieted down but when Joe Biden was sworn in, the trouble started again. Then the U.S. mass media started talking about "Russian aggression." This is paraphrased since the American Media Group site would not let me cut and paste (first time that ever happened). I should have gone to the transcript of the Hal Turner radio podcast. There is much more info there and it's well worth reading the entire article. Regina, aside from the horrors of the government grab for total control, what strikes me is that in your last article, the author's friend was all for what their government wanted to do. Just like here, most people think that whatever the government, the CDC, etc. want to do, it's all for our good. They don't see the downside--- their liberties taken away.
