An Interesting NDE - Remember Natan and Rabbi Levy?

I'm not fundamentally opposed to NDE's although there are some things about this I find difficult.  The first is at about 6:30, where Natan is being judged by Rabbis who are weighing his good and bad deeds.  That doesn't fit very well with our conception of being examined by the Lord as to whether we have saving faith or not.  It is in line with Jewish ideas of keeping the Law.

Much of what he says about perception in the afterlife is in accordance with other reports: Instantly downloaded information, a sense of time being irrelvant, and other features.  But he also speaks of being in the Garden of Eden and Gehenna, which is hell.

He does not point to Yeshua as the Messiah.(28:27) but he says he is coming within months of September 2015.

Obama is Gog?  That really doesn't make sense to me.

I haven't finished the whole video.  From what I've seen, he is advocating a strictly legalistic Judaic conception of the future.

I like the young man; I just don't see his experience as valid.  Really, I do not know where it came from.  The same could be said for lots of other NDE visions, I suppose.

I saw this comment on a website that was discussing Natan NDE ... here is a possibility as to why that he referenced Obama as “Gog”

I wouldn't be surprised if Obama were still the / a human representative of the prince Gog.  If we get to go soon I'd expect Obama will be a player trying to finish the Israeli people, and particularly Benjamin Netanyahu.  Yes it's confusing, but I still hate to throw out babies with bathwater.  Natan was quite clear / unwavering.  That doesn't create truth, but it makes me at least go "hmmmm..."

My biggest problem with NDE’s is that none of the many books I’ve read ever mention being in the Presence of Christ. 2Co 5:8 suggests that when we are absent from the body, we are in the presence of the Lord. While it can be argued that there may be some time in between, which I do not agree with, Paul goes on in 2 Co 12:2-4 to convince me even further that those books or accounts are not legitimate.

2Co 12:2  I know a person in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know; God knows.

2Co 12:3  And I know that such a person—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know; God knows—

2Co 12:4  was caught up into Paradise and heard things that are not to be told, that no mortal is permitted to repeat.

Also, in 1 Co 2:9 he writes:

1 Co 2:9 However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived" -- the things God has prepared for those who love him--  NIV

NDE’s are very popular to read and hear about and many books have been written about then. None of the descriptions I’ve ever read exceeded what my feeble mind can comprehend. One woman, who claims to have been to Heaven and back numerous times writes of roller coasters and movie theaters in Heaven. What a silly notion. She certainly doesn’t mind that she is stuck in this realm after being in Heaven so it must not be that much better there, according to her. Am I jaded concerning this subject. Absolutely! I want to know what the experience of Heaven is like as much as the next Christian. To me, being in Heaven is being in the presence of the Lord. Whatever else is waiting for me is of little concern.

His message about entering heaven is one of doing good works to offset the bad things we have done.  You must know the Law, and observe it.  He speaks of visiting Gehenna, as well as a lower level of Gan Eden (the Garden of Eden).  His description of the coming Messiah and the last days is in stark contrast to what Jesus Christ says about it.  Therefore, I can't accept it as authentic.  That could also be said for the roller coaster lady's visions.

Here are my 2 cents ... I also got a problem with Natan saying he went thru a tunnel of light before reaching Gan Eden (Garden of Eden).  I don’t know of any born again believer who had a NDE ever say that.  My sister was in a horrific car crash and was stuck in a few hospitals and various rehab facilities to learn how to walk and use her arms again ... at least 1 year to recover and was told she could never have any more kids since her pelvic bone was broken in 3 places plus right knee and leg.  But by God’s grace, she was able to have 2 more kids ... she missed the first year of her 6 week old boy life.  His car seat was broken in pieces but he was ok and still sound asleep.  Her husband was driving and he was ok and their friend was sitting in the passenger front seat but he experienced 3 broken ribs because my sister’s knee went thru the seat and injured him.  She was pinned down in the car for a couple of hours and needed the fire dept to remove all the scrap metal.  As soon as they reached the ER they did emergency surgery on her.  The surgeon said we lost her for a few moments.  Her heart stopped because she lost so much blood.  My sister remembers being carried by her guardian angel and taking flight into the heavens. Flying past the sun, moon and stars.  She did not go through any tunnel.  Then she heard a male voice (see didn’t see Jesus but she heard his voice and claims it was Him) and He said “its not your time yet, you have a husband and young baby to take care of”.  She was astonished to hear all this ... it was removed from her memory at that point.  She was upset in a way because she preferred being in heaven.  Then they had a heartbeat once more.  After the surgery ... she had swelling of the brain so they put her in a coma.  She was stuck in that state for months.  But each time we visited even though she couldn’t communicate to us she heard our conversations!  She remembers them all.  So if you have a loved one in a coma, keep talking to them because I believe they do hear. :whistle:    She fully recovered and is a walking miracle.   Had many surgeries though and if she flies she warns them ahead of time about all the metal parts in her leg region because it will set off their scanner device. :wacko:

Oh yeah ... I see what you mean.  I could only watch the first 20 minutes worth of the 1:08:40 youtube. :wacko:   Didn’t even get to the Disney roller coaster rides.  I had the shivers just listening to her voice and her laughter ... I hate to say it but she seems demon possessed.  She also seems to be pushing Kingdom Now and the Joel Olsteen dogma “you can have the best life now” yada yada as well.
