I used to have a thread "Where are we now?" in which I stated that the year Israelites left Egypt occurred in 1446 BC. 1446 BC happens to be 2538 years from Adam. Abraham was born in year 1948 from Adam. Based on 1446 BC = 2538 years from Adam, Abraham was born in 2036 BC. When Abraham turned 75 years old, God called upon Abraham, and told him to leave Haran, to a place God has prepared for him and his descendants ( Genesis 12:4). 2036 BC - 75 years = 1961 BC. Abraham departed Haran in 1961 BC. Since 1961 BC, history of Israel began. From Abraham, to Issac, to Jacob, to Jesus' crucifixion on the cross in 32 AD, this period is known as the old testament era. This era lasted 1992 years (From 1961 BC to 32 AD ). 1961 BC Abraham departed Haran --------- old testament era, 1992 years -------- 32 AD Crucifixion If the new testament era has the same equal length of old testament era, adding 1992 years to 32 AD, it shall end in 2024 AD. 1961 BC Abraham departed Haran ------- 1992 years, old testament era -------- 32 AD Crucifixion --------- new testament era, 1992 years ------- 2024 AD What happens in 2024 AD? From my timeline of 2021 to 2028, 2024 is the middle of tribulation. God allows AC to rule over Israel for 42 months. From 2024, Israel begins to enter AC's era. We can call it dark ages. Now, let me finish my chart. 1961 BC Abraham departed Haran ------- 1992 years, old testament/ old covenant era -------- 32 AD Crucifixion --------- new testament/new covenant era, 1992 years ------- 2024 AD------- 3.5 years Dark Age AC rules over Israel and Judah for 42 months ------- 2028 Second Advent, Jesus breaks the 42 months rule and authority of AC I am not suggesting during the 3.5 years, new covenant and salvation ends. As matter of fact, there will be a world wide revival during this period. That should include 1/3 of Israel. But the relative peaceful time of new testament era is interrupted by this 3.5 years of dark ages. Moreover, from what I observe in Revelation 7:14, the tribulation saints have to keep their white robe washed and make them white in the blood of Lamb. During this harsh time, salvation is no longer "once saved, always saved". Rather, it goes back to the old testament era. It is their responsibility that they have to keep their salvation/faith, by not losing it. The last 3.5 years Dark age is a mixture of old testament and new testament era. I have attached my thread "Where are we now?" for new comers to read. Where are we now? To begin my thought, let's find out in which year Exodus took place. 1 Kings 6 And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD. Solomon began his reign in 970 BC. His fourth year is 966 BC. And there have been 480 years between Exodus and 966 BC. Adding 480 years to 966 BC,we come to 1446 BC as the year Exodus took place. Exodus 12:40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelled in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. Now that we know Exodus took place in 1446 B.C. If we can piece these 430 years gap to 1446 B.C., then we should know where we are since Adam. I have attached a commentary from Benson. Benson commentary: Exodus 12:40. Who dwelt in Egypt — Or sojourned. We must observe, that it is not said, The sojourning of the children of Israel in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years; but the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt — That is, the sojourning of the Israelitish nation, from the time that Abraham left his native country to sojourn in Canaan, to the release of his posterity, who were long sojourners in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. End of quote I agree with Benson except that I believe the sojourning of children of Israel in Canaan began with Jacob's birth. God only sees Jacob and his descendants are the children of Israel, not Issac nor Abraham because they also begat Ishmael and Esau. And God has also changed the name of Jacob to Israel. From Adam to the birth of Abraham, there are 1948 years. Abraham begat Issac when he was 100 years old. So Issac was born in year 2048. Issac begat Jacob when he was 60 years old. So Jacob was born in year 2108 after Adam. And I believe 2108 is the year sojourning of children of Israel in Canaan began. And from Exodus 12:40 we learn that the number of years of their sojourning in Canaan and their time spent in Egypt is 430 years. Here is the calculation. Adding 430 years to 2108, we come to 2538 years from Adam. Exodus took place in this year, and it also happened to be 1446 BC. To calculate the years we are from Adam,we have the following, 2538 +1446 BC + 2019 (2020 -1,there is no 0 in AD) = 6003 We are 6003 years from creation of Adam. Based on 2538 years from Adam = 1446 BC, we can find out more about the timeline of Israel's history. Jacob entered Egypt when he was 130 years old. It happened in year 2238 from Adam or 1746 BC. The descendants of Jacob stayed in Egypt for 300 years ( between 2238 and 2538), not the traditional belief of 400 years. Moses was born 2458 years from Adam or 1526 BC. Noah's flood happened 1656 years from Adam. That works out to be 2538 - 1656 + 1446 BC = 2328 BC. 2328 BC is 4347 years ago. Scientists found archaeological evidence that roughly 4400 years ago there was a glacier age. Back in Noah's time, the sky was covered by a fountain of great deep ( stream of water in moisture form ) ( Genesis 7:11 ). This fountain of great deep creates a greenhouse effect on earth. There was no winter except spring like weather on earth. But when fountain of great deep was broken, became heavy rain on earth for 40 days and 40 nights, temperature suddenly dropped and the earth entered glacier age. Scientists found proof this glacier age happened in 4400 years ago. They only proved that bible is valid, that the flood occurred 4347 years ago, and the subsequent glacier age.
