Its interesting to me that during these times and the season that we are entering into (Passover starts on April 8th) - how we are being told to "shelter in place" for our own safety, which is what the Israelites were told to do 3,000 years ago during Passover. 13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. I’m sure through time the church as sheltered in place many times through persecution....WWII, Spanish Inquisition, etc... Then we have “shelter in the time of storm” for Noah/his family/and the animals “safely hiding out in the ark. I love the fact the Lord brought the animals to the ark ... Noah didn’t have to go searching for them and then the Lord closed the door and then global judgment came. And then we have the rapture event in Revelation 4:1 ... the door of heaven will be opened and I’m trusting the Lord will also bring the believer’s pets upward as well to hide safety (Romans 8:18-23) before the global 7 year judgment starts. there is a beautiful new stray cat thats been at our home the last couple days, a gorgeous orange and cream color. Yes, the Israelites “sheltered in place” (very short time period but they were told to be ready) - judgement fall on Egypt. I wonder if one third of the Egyptians died????
