I dunno, Todd. I'm certainly not arguing, and those many correlations seem uncanny, but it has often seemed unjust to "punish" the rank and file residents because of the nefarious decisions made for their own interests by corrupt officials, say in the US in this instance. The people losing their livelihoods and houses aren't generally even involved in the "nation" who is slapping Israel, and even those corrupt officials pay nothing. And they also capitalize on the misfortunes or "divine reprisals." Not arguing, just sayin.' On the other hand, the entire nation of Israel still suffers for the rejection of Jesus 2,000 years ago by corrupt and jealous officials at the top. Oy vey! "...who will deliver me from this body of death?..." One guess... Praise His Holy Name! I love how Ecclesiastes ends: "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."
