Here at home we just end up on someone's bad list.  But God's ire and anger is all that I fear!  My wife's a distant second!

Breaking Israel News

Israel’s defense minister and head of the New Right party, Naftali Bennett, spoke to a Yeshiva (male seminary) in northern Israel on Wednesday criticizing a political rival who Bennett claims doesn’t treat Israel’s state institutions as playing an integral role in the Redemption process.

Bennett then lamented what he sees as a current attitude of lawlessness in Israel saying that the reason that the Second Temple was destroyed was because everyone “followed their own rules.”

“We need to understand the big picture” Bennett said adding “today we are in (the era of) the Third Temple.

Bennett then reminded the captive audience about the history of the Kingdom of Israel saying “we have had a state twice where we ruled as a united people. The first time it only lasted 80 years – King David 40, then King Solomon 40. After that, we separated.”

“The second time, we were sovereign for only 74 years during the Hasmonean dynasty” he added.

Bennett then touching on the present saying “Now we are at 72 years. The Jewish nation has never been able to maintain a united rule for more than 80 years.”

The Defense Minister concluded saying that he will not let “anyone tear apart the state of Israel.”

Israel Reveals it is Now Targeting Iranian Forces Militarily
Breaking Israel News
By JNS  February 12, 2020 , 1:36 pm

Israel’s defense minister issued a stern warning to Iran on Tuesday, saying that Jerusalem was “changing the paradigm” and would no longer content itself with striking back at the Islamic Republic’s proxy forces in the region.

Speaking at a memorial event in northern Israel, Defense Minister Naftali Bennett said, “When the octopus tentacles hit you, you must fight back not just against the tentacles, but also make sure to suffocate the head of the octopus, and the same applies to Iran.”

The time has come, said Bennett, to move from fighting against Iran’s proxy forces to confronting the regime directly.

“For years on end, we have fought against the Iranian tentacles in Lebanon, Syria and the Gaza Strip, but we have not focused enough on weakening Iran itself. Now we are changing the paradigm. We are now engaged in an ongoing effort to weaken the Iranian octopus through economic, diplomatic and intelligence measures, as well as with military means and various other approaches.”

Israel’s northern border remains a source of concern, said Bennett, adding, “The relative quiet does not confuse us, and the Israel Defense Forces is ready for any scenario.”

Bennett concluded his remarks with a message to the regime: “You have no business being in Syria, and so long as you continue to build terrorist bases there, we will continue to increase the strikes against you.”

He said that Israel was not going to stop targeting Iran, “and Iran must not make the mistake of thinking otherwise.” He vowed to “continue denying Iran a foothold on our northern border” and said Israel “was making sure to constantly exact a price until we reach the ultimate goal: driving Iran out of Syria.”

Kaboom!  Hey, how about a Valentine’s Rapture? :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn

Now the End Begins
By Geoffrey Grider  Feb 13, 2020

Syrian air defenses downed several missiles coming across the Golan Heights in Israel before they hit their targets in the capital Damascus, Syrian state television said on Thursday.

Iran is on a mission, and that mission is to hit Israel from the northern border of Syria, and that is something that Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed will never happen. The key to keeping Iran out is the fact that Israel controls the Golan Heights, a highly strategic area and a place that President Donald Trump, back in March of 2019, recognized as being under Israeli control.

“I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Isaiah 62:6,7 (KJV)

Fun Fact: Back in April of 2016, Barack Obama who hated Netanyahu and couldn’t care less about Israel, said that the United States did not recognize Israeli authority over the Golan Heights. If the Democrats win in 2020, America will return to its previous policy of being at odds with Israel, Communist Bernie Sanders said as president he will divert US aid from Israel to Hamas. And that’s exactly why Trump is going to win in a landslide.

Israel strikes Iranian targets near Damascus
From the Jerusalem Post: The IAF launched an airstrike in the Damascus area, according to the Syrian news agency SANA, in addition to multiple sources.

Syrian air defenses downed several missiles coming across Israel’s Golan Heights before they hit their targets in the capital, Damascus, Syrian state television said on Thursday. The attack was allegedly targeting Iranian ammunition depots in the city.

Ironic, isn’t it?

The defense minister stating that we are in the era of the third temple. Exactly right!

Believers are the Temple of the Holy Spirit. The third temple. :good:

I know he means the temple that will get defiled by Antichrist but it’s still interesting.

Iran is ready to hit Israel because of the air strike over Damascus

BulgarianMilitary.com
By Boyko Nikolov On Feb 14, 2020

TEHRAN, (BM) – Iran threatens Israel with a tough response due to a Tel Aviv missile strike at Damascus International Airport. This is stated in the publication of the Federal News Agency, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.

It is worth recalling that part of the missiles launched from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights was intercepted by air defense systems. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), based in London, confirms information about Tel Aviv’s involvement in shelling Syrian territories. Due to rocket fire, three Syrians and four fighters of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) lost their lives.

FAN journalists write that according to a number of sources on social networks, Israel launched an air strike at Damascus airport several hours after the arrival of an important cargo from Tehran. It is assumed that on board the Boeing 747 were not only components for missiles and other military technologies, but also the new commander of the special forces of the IRGC Esmail Kaani.

It is worth recalling that in early January, the United States killed Iranian General Kassem Suleimani, after which Tehran launched a retaliatory missile strike on American military bases located in Iraq.

Recently, Iran has repeatedly warned Israel of a retaliatory strike.

“Tehran’s tough statements follow one after another, and any new Israeli provocation in Syria could be a reason for a retaliatory strike,” the FAN publication said.

Recall that on Saturday, Major General IRGC Mohsen Rezai gave an interview to Lebanese television channel Al Mayadeen. According to him, any aggressive actions by Washington against Tehran could be a reason for a strike against Israel.

This Wednesday, February 12, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Mousavi said that Iran’s response will make anyone who regrets Tehran’s interests in Syria regret its aggression. Yesterday, February 13, Major General Hussein Salami said the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) was ready to strike at Israel.

“If you and the United States make the slightest mistake, we will strike,” said Major General Hussein Salami, commander of the IRGC.

So soon they forget! How the nations rage! They boast of what they cannot do! Obviously, Iran chooses to forget who alines with Israel. My son returned from Iran about a month ago now, it is very interesting to hear how much the media twisted the January events and claims of death and destruction on US forces to be false. It is true that many nationals where injured but the media does not speak truth about this.
Currently, the scene is being set up very nicely to afford the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38. :popcorn :popcorn
My son and a few others (recently returned from the region) would say, ”think of it like this, Iran thinks to come at Israel with a water gun (Death and destruction), while Israel can and will defend itself with the full military force of sophisticated and elite power. Then Iran pleads to the nations for Israel’s brutality.” A second thought, some of the destruction, Iran has caused on its own people with the hopes of inciting the world against Israel - oh what a tangled web they try to weave, but God fights for Israel.

My heart goes out to the blind leaders of the blind - May the scales be removed and they see Jesus! Only God can orchestrate the pattern of prophecy now unfolding before us. We are certainly soon to depart! This will not be abated.

The hour is late ... check out what concerns the Saudis ...

Debka.com

The Saudi paper Sharq al-Awsat Feb. 15 that the Russians had given up on curbing Iran’s military presence in Syria. It cited Saudi intelligence sources in eastern Syria where the Saudis took control of Syria’s eastern oil region in December under the US aegis. Those sources wonder how Israel can hope to succeed where the Russians have failed.

On Thursday, Feb. 13, they note, Israel took out four Iranian officers in an attack on a new Iranian weapons consignment delivered in the Damascus area. Two of the dead were Revolutionary Guards generals – Riday Mahmadi, commander of Iranian forces in the Damascus region, and Haj Hossein, who was in charge of arming Iranian forces in Syria.

While this was yet another impressive Israeli intelligence feat, its impact will be short-lived, say DEBKAfile’s military sources. Tehran will rapidly replace the two officers, in the same way as it quickly slotted a Hizballah loyalist close to Hassan Nasrallah into the vacancy left by the US assassination of Al Qods chief Qassem Soleimani on Jan. 3. The Guards don’t leave missing links in their chain of command – either in Syria or in Iraq.

The systematic destruction by Israeli missiles of Iran’s weapons consignments landing in Syria is likewise of provisional value. While the IDF is exceptionally effective in spotting and targeting the incoming arms shipments, a certain quantity must be presumed to be getting through to destination, else how account for periodic reports on the rising numbers of precision missiles in the hands of Iran’s proxy, the Lebanese Hizballah? This question also applies to the Palestinian Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

IDF commander Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi addressed the Iranian and other threats to Israel’ security when he presented his new multi-year military program last week, He pointed out in his preamble that Israel’s armed forces must contend with “surrounding terrorist armies in Syria, Lebanon, the Gaza Strip and Sinai, which are not under state control,” as well as Iran, which “currently holds a stock of 1,000 precision missiles capable of reaching Tel Aviv, some of which have multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRV) that are difficult to intercept.” He stressed too that “Hizballah is advancing in its own precision rockets project.”

Our military sources pose this question. How can Hizballah make such advances after three years of constant Israeli attacks? And how come that terrorist groups from the Gaza Strip and Sinai are still allowed to pose a strategic threat to national security?

The new IDF plan, dubbed “Momentum,” speaks of “strengthening the capabilities of the ground forces, and taking advantage of aerial range to enable combat units to attack and destroy a maximum number of targets in as short a time as possible.” However, say DEBKAfile’s sources, one lesson learned from long experience of wars is that no-one can predict how a conflict, once started, will end. None can be counted on to achieve a rapid in-and-out bang-bang victory. In countering Iran, Israel is more likely to come up against the same obstacles as Russia encountered in Syria – a lingering, constantly evolving presence that is hard to pin down.

There is nothing innovative about Gen. Kochavi’s decision to establish an Iran Command headed by a general. IDF generals have filled this position in the past, the last appointee was Maj. Gen. NItzan Alon, after whom the position vanished without explanation.

While “Momentum” was approved by the prime minister and defense minister, PM Binyamin Netanyahu added a rider criticizing the plan as needing a sharper offensive strategy.

Naftali Bennett returned last week from his first Washington visit and talks in the Pentagon as defense minister. He reported an agreement for a division of labor to push back Iranian expansion: the Americans would operate in Iraq, while the IDF would continue to take on the Iranians in Syria.

No US officials has confirmed or, for that matter, denied the existence of this deal. Neither has any reference been made any other competent Israeli official in the caretaker government that is officiating in Jerusalem up until the March 2 general election.
