YESTERDAY’S CONTENT Forging through the ruins, Of yesterday’s content, We grasp the realization, That the Rapture is imminent. We peer through swollen eyes, Where tears have carved a path, And see the stark reality, Of a victim’s aftermath. The enemy has been on the warpath, Unrelenting in his quest to destroy. He has intruded into every situation, Attempting to steal any and all semblance of joy. His wrath of terror is at its zenith, Which portends that the end is near, The dark clouds hanging on the horizon, Confirm that Jesus is ready to appear. We know the Holy Spirit is within us, We are Sanctified in the Father’s eyes, But lacerations bleed just the same, No matter where the incision lies. Our impatience has bred frustration, And this frustration has spawned new fear, This is just what the enemy is seeking, To lead us astray with Jesus so near. Thus, the time has come to revise our course, Should we “spring into action” or just “be still”? Do we “raise the sails” or “set the anchor”? “Ascend the mountain” or simply “gaze at the hill”? So many questions without expedient answer, Confusion obfuscates what each of us must do, This is the time to kneel in meek prostration, Before our Saviour – who is Righteous and True!! No matter what transpired in the distant past, Or what each of us is experiencing today, Tomorrow will be a different story, With all of our tears being washed forever away! The Holy Spirit will soothe the hurt within, If we retain the Faith and humbly repent, The Father holds our future within His Hands, While Jesus has the capacity to reclaim YESTERDAY’S CONTENT!!! Have faith, trust, and keep hope alive my friends!!! Humbly Thank you! You so eloquently put into words what do many of us are feeling. Humbly, I have read this twice now and am very thankful for your gift of words, they halved blessed my heart. :thankyou :prayer-hands: BeckyE and Tammie -- thank you for responding to apprise me that my thoughts that I put into words don't return void. Whenever I put forth these things, I feel that the Lord is encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and lay my feelings out there for others to scrutinize. I am just very thankful that the replies are always positive and that some not only read these words but also "read them twice". Thus, the Good Father is taking something so small from me and yet touching others through these human words, through His Holy Spirit, for His good purposes, to let others know that we are not alone in our suffering. All of our tears will be compensated 100 times more in Heaven than we could ever hope for. I don't know what I'm trying to say here, and I seem to be rambling on. My apologies. Hang on, hang in, hang tough, hang loose, and hang tight -- Jesus is coming soon for us!!!!!!! Hallelujah!!!!!!!!! Although it may be difficult to hear at times, as truth is, it is necessary. It keeps us all humble and helps us to stay focused on the reality of our eternity. Our job is to remain faithful in the work the Father has called us too.
