Yes and it is so nice to chat with brothers and sisters of like heart and mind. I know my one daughter is of like heart  and mind and totally gets it but the rest of my family think I’m reaching or just looking for an escape (yes I am out of a world full of sin to be my Saviour) or they tolerate my logic.  A few co-workers who are believers tell me it’s not time, there  is too much work to do and I shouldn’t focus so much on the rapture. So it’s great to be back among a family that encourages each other to keep watching, I am not alone. :yahoo:  :yahoo:

Hi Tammie,  not much has changed in my family or people I know.  Facts speak for themselves.  Probably should say fruit....rotten fruit!  If the rapture happened tonight, my husband, three brothers and their wives and kids are not saved.  Any time I mention anything related to the Lord, salvation, tribulation I get immediately shut down.  So sad that a person can live on this planet and not recognize it has a creator!  The fellowship with like minded believers is very precious.  I have one cousin that is saved.  She lives out of state and we talk on the phone.  She has the same story....no believers she can talk with but me.  It's very sad!  The rapture will happen and time is running out for the lost.  In the meantime it means praying for people to accept Jesus.  Thank you for sharing your thoughts...it is gold to have fellowship!

Interesting.....my daughter and I were just chatting over a mutual sadness at how easily so many continue to reject Christ.

Then I had the thought and wrote:

I don't know what you would call it but someone could present to people about what a terrific friend they have you know......who is always there, who always listens, always helps, is strong, trustworthy, who loves like we've never been loved, who is wise and is someone that can be depended on always, who is an amazing builder......and that he is always open to having new friends....

They'd likely say, wow, would love to know this guy!! Hope to meet him sometime.......how shocked they would be to find out it is Jesus. :bible

Jan,

I know you never give up praying for your family and I’m sure you are tested everyday as you live Christ in silence before them. Some folks will be saved during the tribulation and for some that catastrophe of the rapture, which is what it will seem to them, is what it may take to point them to the savior. I know you are aware of the tribulation saints, so as hard as it is take heart. Trust in the sovereign grace of God. Beloved Savior, you who would that none should parish but that all would come to a saving knowledge of the finished work on Calvary, even now I join my prayers to Jan’s and consecrate her loved family to you for salvation, holding you to your promise. Father unbind their hearts, remove the scales from their eyes even as you did for Saul on the way to Damascus, bind satan from hindering your Word from reaching their soul. We pray this according to your promised Word and hold you to your Holy Word. In Jesus Name, “You ask nothing in my name, ask and it will be given to you”. In Jesus Name we ask for souls to be brought to you, Jan’s family by name. :amen:

Jan,

I am praying for your family. My husband is in a similar situation with many of his family. His sons are either apathetic ("that's nice dad") or have gone off the deep end into paganism. Other family call themselves "christians" because that's what their parents were. We pray often for our unsaved loved ones, nightly, and rest in God's greater love for them as their Creator. Stand strong, take courage in Christ, breathe, and keep praying even when it is hard!

:prayer-hands:

Heather

Jan in Ct? I remember someone with that name way back in 2007 at the old RITA site. He/she went up a mountain and blew his/her shofar then. Are you the same? If so, nice to hear from you again. I posted then as "goyaman".
