The GODtysburg Address Ninety-eight score and seventeen years ago, our Savior brought forth into this world a New Covenant, conceived in His Blood, and dedicated to the proposition that all men can be saved by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ. Now we are engaged in a great spiritual war, testing whether the enemy, conceived in lies and dedicated to the destruction of the Gospel, can long endure. We fight daily on this great battlefield Earth to dedicate a portion of this planet to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We acknowledge, admire, and revere our Holy-Spirit-filled predecessors who courageously gave their lives to Christ in order that others might be able to live forever in Heaven. Their unequivocal efforts to share the Truth about Christ’s Ultimate Sacrifice on The Cross for the remission of our sins, altogether makes it fitting and proper that we should also attempt to preach the Good News to any sinner that is willing to open their hearts and repent from their iniquities. But, in a larger sense, Christians can not dedicate -- nor consecrate -- nor hallow the Path to Righteousness alone and bring others through the Way and the Truth to encounter the Life. One brave Man, once living, Who was dead, and now lives again at the right hand of God, who set aside His Holiness here on Earth to live a Perfect human life, who consecrated our souls, far above our poor power to add or detract, willingly laid down His life so that others could have life and live that more abundantly. Yet the unbelieving world had little regard for Him, nor long remembered what He said while He was here; but His Sacrifice can never be forgotten by his followers, nor can what He accomplished here through His death. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to promulgate the Finished Work which He so nobly, selflessly, and lovingly advanced. It is rather for us to persevere here in commitment to the great task remaining before us -- that from His Death we take increased courage to that cause for which He gave the last full measure of devotion on the Cross -- that God highly resolved that His Son did not die in vain -- that all believers, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- despite the fact that the government of the people, by the people, and for the people has perished from the face of the Earth. But one day, and one day soon, a Heavenly Theocracy will be firmly established forever with our King of Kings and Lord of Lords governing our Eternal lives. Hallelujah!!
