Wow, so much there to consider.

I am almost as hesitant at someone claiming to have figured out the Jubilee as I am someone claiming the date of the rapture because some of the same voices were claiming the Jubilee was in 2016 and 2017, but if it wasn’t then I really do hope it is this year because it really does tie in with the date of our departure I think.

I believe that the Jubilee cycle does have so much to do with the rapture and or tribulation and or second coming.  Since the principle of Jubilee is all about release of captives into freedom and restoration of lost property, part of me feels like it is an end of tribulation event when the earth enters the millennium and all prisoners of sin are released and the earth is restored to King Jesus’s ruler ship.

There is also the 6000 year “lease” to be considered.  God said to Noah that His spirit would not always strive with man, but be limited to 120 years - some have interpreted this to mean 120 Jubilee years (120x50=6000)

However if the tribulation period is included in the 1000 year “day of the Lord” then the Jubilee could easily be at the beginning of the tribulation and indeed it does seem we are at or approaching that 6000 year mark.

Also the strongest case I would make for the final Jubilee occurring at the beginning of the tribulation, or in the same timeframe as a pre-trib rapture is that it might signify the opening of the scroll with 7 seals, as some have interpreted that the scroll is the “title deed” of the earth, or as I like to think of it “the 6000 year lease” - Jubilee is the eviction notice to the devil and the rule of man, and the property goes back to God.

We are so lined up for those seals to open, the “man of peace”, world war, food shortages and economic implosion and widespread death just for starters - but the Restrainer is still restraining.  I firmly believe that we will not be here for any part of those seals opening - so to see them line up so clearly in such a way and to consider that the “lease” is about up, makes me all the more sure that we are at the door.

The only thing I still wonder about is the “religious calendar” vs. “civil calendar” aspect.  Clearly Abib/Nisan 1 is the beginning of the calendar cycle in the spring which we just began.  No where does God command Israel to count months by Tishri 1 in the fall, yet we have that pesky command to declare the Jubilee on Tishri 10, Yom Kippur and that muddies the waters - so what do we do with that?

I take it one of two ways - we could take it that on Yom Kippur in the fall the Jubilee is announced as - “Hey next year on Abib 1 a Jubilee is going to start, get ready!”  Or we could take it as “Hey, if you didn’t know already, we are in the middle of a Jubilee year that started last spring, so if you haven’t already freed your slaves and restored property to your neighbor you had better do it now or you won’t be able to receive atonement”.

I like that second interpretation better, which is to say, we may have already entered into that Jubilee year on Abib/Nisan 1 (about 3 weeks ago) from God’s perspective - which further means, we don’t necessarily have to wait for the fall, if we are already in the Jubilee “zone” the rapture could happen at any time.  I hope so! But if not, I can hang out with you guys until fall lol!
