Interesting use of the Moon calendar. If you set the date to April 0030 AD you'll see that Passover occurred on Thursday April 6. Understand that the month presented on the page is the modern day Gregorian calendar.  The Gregorian calendar was modeled after the Julian calendar that began in 45 BC. The Passover has always been the 14th day of the Hebrew calendar. In the year 30 AD, from Passover to the first day of the week, Sunday, was 3 days.

Luke 24:21  But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

Hey Tammie,

I know huh. Their ignorance is bewildering. For being such "godly people", they know nothing! My boss at that time believed that unborn babies' salvation was depended upon their parents. Thats just one example.

He confessed to me he never read the Bible, in fact, he didn't like to read.

I wasn't godly at that time, but I knew more than he did just from my up bringing.

P.S.

J. Vernon McGee I googled yesterday, very good old time preaching!

So ya’ll — As much as I love food — and beef and fish and deer and chicken — keeping things in perspective Romans 14:17 “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”

AND I do hope you’ll love fruit because ….

Revelation 22:2 “through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” :yahoo:

I can’t help it, my Italian culture is … we gather around to fellowship with good food and desserts.

We can’t just assume we will only eat fruits and veggies … this verse comes to mind.

I Corinthians 2:9

But, as it is written: That eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath it entered into the heart of man, what things God hath prepared for them that love him.

:mdrmdr: That is so true! This one time I was visiting with my great aunt in Ventura California and when I was leaving to go back home she loaded me up with so much food that my family still laughs about it 25 years later! Italians and food are synonymous! LOL
