Israeli authorities have vowed to stop any attempts to bring sacrificial animals to the complex, as they have in years past. Wednesday, President Isaac Herzog said Israel will continue to maintain the status quo in the capital. “In recent days, mendacious reports have been circulating on social media about the Temple Mount and the holy sites. I want to take this opportunity to say: These are lies. Israel maintains the status quo on the Temple Mount,” Herzog said. Just a note about "maintaining the status quo." The Israelis and everybody else in the Middle East take this very seriously. Basically, it's why there is relative peace there. When my husband and I visited Israel, we saw a ladder on the top of one roof of a building propped up to the next floor's roof. Our guide pointed it out. He said that ladder had been there for decades. It cannot be taken down or even moved. Why? Because they must strictly maintain the status quo. And then there is … Yehuda Glick … who is very vocal activist / politician and campaigns for expanding Jewish access to the Temple Mount. You don’t hear too much about him anymore … he used to interrupt Bibi’s speeches and say … What about the 3rd Temple … perhaps when Bibi returns as PM … Yehuda Glick will be back with that push? Israeli leniency for the islamic Ramadan was used for for the stockpiling of stones used against Israeli security and civilians at the Mount and Western Wall. Jordan will soon pay dearly for its actions. No surprise that Jordan's King Abdullah and his princes are key enemies - which is something the prophet Asaph was explicit about in his Psalm 83 prophecy. Jordan's role is also explicitly clear per the prophecy of Isaiah 11 - but y'all are already keenly aware of these things. Finally, the signs in the heavens have been present of late. No surprise here either; we're under the Lord's direction to watch for such signs, and they are occurring. - Fair Use - How fitting that Jordan will soon be punished for their actions and then Petra will become a safe place for the 1/3 Jews to flee to mid point of the trib.
