I had proton mail for almost a month. Last week, I entered the wrong password. I think I did enter the right one, I remember my passwords. Maybe it's because my keyboard is acting up sometimes. For some reason, I went ahead and chose to reset it. a message came up that if I reset the password, my messages will become encrypted. I needed to get into my mail box so I pressed Ok and chose a new password. when I went to my inbox, I found that all new messages I have gotten were encrypted. I couldn't read a thing. What's the point of doing that? People forget passwords, there are ways of confirming that a person is who they say the are and let them in. What's the point of resetting your password and find your messages encrypted. I opened an account with outlook. I got turned off by proton mail. Just in case somebody is wondering what it is like.
