Senator Mitch McConnell was reportedly found unconscious in his DC home last month before he was rushed to the hospital, PunchBowl News reported. The 84-year-old Kentucky Senator was rushed to the hospital a couple of weeks ago and was “receiving excellent care” his spokesman said. It is still unclear why McConnell was admitted to the hospital. On top of that, when agents at a command center finally got word Thomas Crooks had taken a firing position on top of a roof on the grounds, a Secret Service staffer resorted to searching Google for its location only 155 yards away, instead of just asking local authorities where that was. The report concluded that the Secret Service had failed to: The agency remained unaware of the radio transmissions as local law enforcement seemed to be doing its job in detecting a potential threat. “Instead, we found that the Secret Service received only five phone calls and three text messages about Crooks,” the report notes. “As a result, Secret Service members did not alert President Trump’s protective detail about concerns of a suspicious person.” It continued, “Moreover, Secret Service decision-makers responsible for protecting President Trump while on stage at the Butler event were not made aware of Crooks’ presence at any time.” At 6:09 p.m., local law enforcement called the Secret Service and Pennsylvania State Police communications room “warning them of a suspicious person on the AGR complex’s roof,” according to the DHS report. The New York Post reports what happened next: ...“Instead of asking local law enforcement personnel for the AGR complex’s location, the counter drone operator searched online for it, and was still searching when Crooks fired his first shots,” the report determined. Keep it off everything if you want to win. That is not clever. That is a confession. When your own consultants tell candidates to hide the Republican label, the problem is not the candidate. It is the party. Voters are angry about crime, schools, housing, taxes, water, energy, homelessness, election integrity, and the cost of living. The issues are sitting there, gift-wrapped by Democrat failure. What California lacks is a Republican Party capable of converting that anger into power. If Republicans are now being told to vote for establishment Democrats to stop communists, then the party does not need a rebrand. It needs an overhaul. New leadership. New infrastructure. New discipline. New respect for the grassroots. New candidate recruitment. New voter registration. New election operations. New consultants, or fewer of them. One of the amazing things Trump has been doing in his second term, is going after states that offer in-state tuition for illegal immigrants at public colleges. His Education Department has filed multiple lawsuits over this. In Florida, they have taken things a step further. The Florida Board of Education has just voted to ban illegal immigrants from even being enrolled at public colleges and universities. Other Republican led states should follow suit. Our system of higher education has been abused by illegal immigrants for years, emboldened by the radical campus left which seeks to transform the United States into a third world hellhole.
