Team Trump Catches Gavin Newsom in a HUGE Lie During Back-and-Forth as California Governor Releases Thousands of Violent Criminal Illegals Back into Society:

No lie is too big for California Governor Gavin Newsom, even when such falsehoods have the potential to put the lives of Americans in danger.

The Department of Homeland Security on Friday sent out a press release on Friday, revealing that 33,179 illegals are in California’s custody, yet the state government is refusing to honor the ICE detainers. The crimes by these prisoners include 399 homicides, 3,313 assaults, 3,171 burglaries, 1,011 robberies, 8,380 dangerous drugs offenses, 1,984 weapons offenses, and 1,293 sexual predatory offenses.

This policy by California has resulted in 4,561 criminal illegal aliens being released since January 20.

Newsom responded to Noem’s post, claiming that California always follows the law and cooperates with ICE to remove violent criminals.

But this is nothing but a massive lie. Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli noted in a subsequent tweet that current California law bars county jails from turning over prisoners to immigration authorities.

“It’s illegal for them to honor a detainer, even if they wanted to,” he added.

The law in question is the California Values Act (SB 54), signed into law in 2017 by then-Governor Jerry Brown. The legislation bars state and local resources from being used to assist federal immigration enforcement, including county jails, schools, hospitals, and courthouses.

At Least 112 USAF C-17 Aircraft Headed To Middle East: 'Desert Storm Levels'

An eye-opening and massive number of C-17 Globemaster military transport and cargo planes have been observed heading to Europe and the Middle East, in what some monitors have forewarned looks like the build-up to major war in Iran.

One regional watcher and pundit commented in response: "112 C-17s are in or on their way to the Middle East. Guys, that’s a lot. Like Desert Storm a lot. Stay tuned."

This as on Friday the prominent open source account Armchair Admiral and others used public flight tracking data to tally that the huge armada of US Air Force C-17s and counting are en route - a trend since mid-January.

"A total of 112 U.S. Air Force C-17's have now either arrived or are en route to the Middle East with a further 17-18 in-progress flights, a number of Royal Air Force logistics flights from RAF Marham to RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, and movement on U.S. Air Force CORONETs," the source said.

C-17s are massive, and can deliver huge amounts of equipment or large numbers of troops in a single go.

Iran and the US just concluded an initial round of indirect talks mediated by Oman, but despite some hopeful statements issued by either side, it is very clear Iran is not willing to negotiate its ballistic missile program - a sticking point being demanded by Washington. A second round is expected in the coming days, unless military action ensues first.

Trump Moves To Strip Protections From Senior Bureaucrats In Escalation Of Deep State Crackdown:

The Trump administration is preparing a sweeping overhaul of federal employment rules that would make it significantly easier to discipline—and potentially fire—career officials in senior government positions, intensifying President Donald Trump’s long-running campaign against what he describes as a hostile “deep state.”

According to a Wall Street Journal exclusive, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is set to issue a final rule creating a new employment category for high-ranking career officials whose roles involve shaping or executing administration policy. Roughly 50,000 federal workers could fall under the change, losing long-standing civil-service protections that have made dismissals difficult for decades.

Under the new framework, affected employees would no longer be able to appeal firings or disciplinary actions to an independent civil-service board. OPM officials say the rule targets positions that are policy-determining, policymaking, or policy-advocating in nature, aligning accountability more closely with presidential authority.

The move is part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to overhaul federal agencies, shrink the bureaucracy, and root out internal resistance. Senior political appointees argue entrenched officials have actively obstructed Trump’s agenda, fueling the president’s claim that unelected bureaucrats have undermined democratic governance.

Once the rule is finalized, Trump is expected to issue a new executive order formally placing specific senior positions into the new category—marking one of the most consequential civil-service shake-ups in generations and a defining front in his renewed war on the deep state.

Republicans Introduce OMAR Act to Deal With Corruption in Congress:

Republican members of Congress introduced legislation at the end of last month meant to target colleagues suspected of using campaign funds for personal and familial benefit.

The bill is known as the Oversight for Members And Relatives Act — also known as the OMAR Act — and was filed by Reps. Tom Tiffany and Tony Wied, both Republicans from Wisconsin.

The OMAR Act would prevent campaign funds from benefiting spouses of lawmakers and require that candidates disclose any payments made to immediate family.

Blaze Media, which broke the news of the bill, noted that Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Democrat from Minnesota, reportedly shelled out $2.8 million to a political consulting firm owned by her husband during the 2019-2020 campaign season.
Wied added to Blaze Media that “members of Congress are sent to Washington to represent the interests of their constituents — not to line their spouses’ pockets with campaign funds.”

EPA Will Repeal Obama Admin’s Legal Basis for ‘Greenhouse Gas’ Regulations to Bring Car, Energy Prices Down:

The Trump administration’s EPA is set to rescind former President Barack Obama’s “endangerment finding” that served as “the legal basis for federal greenhouse-gas regulation,” according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

“This week, we make history,” Zeldin wrote. “Getting ready to join President Trump to announce the single largest act of deregulation in the history of the USA.”

The EPA has stated that the Endangerment Finding “has been used to justify over $1 trillion in regulations:”

The EPA has said the Endangerment Finding has been used to justify over $1 trillion in regulations, including the Biden-Harris administration’s electric vehicle mandate. Scrapping the so-called Endangerment Finding would repeal all of the greenhouse emissions regulations for motor vehicles and engines and give Americans consumer choice.

"On Thursday, President Trump will be joined by Administrator Lee Zeldin to formalize the recission of the 2009 Obama-era Endangerment Finding,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced. “This will be the largest deregulatory action in American history, and it will save the American people $1.3 trillion in crushing regulation.”
