Images and video have surfaced online showing piles of trash and snow accumulating along streets and sidewalks across New York City. Since the surfacing of these videos and images, Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) has been under harsh scrutiny from critics and citizens of NYC. Actor and comedian Michael Rapaport called the city a "dirty snow covered dump" with garbage mountains rivaling the snowdrifts. Video and photos circulating online show trash bags stacked eight feet high in places like the Upper East Side, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, often fused with dirty ice and slush from the storm. Residents point out that other cities handle heavy snow without turning their cities into open dumps. [Video at the link] Tens of thousands of New York City residents made calls reporting lack of heat and hot water in January, with several private and public housing tenants telling The New York Post they are stuck in unlivable conditions and blame Muslim socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani for failing to respond to the crisis. Approximately 80,000 New Yorkers called 311 last month — the highest monthly total on record — reporting a lack of heat and hot water during frigid temperatures below ten degrees, according to the report. Tenants throughout the city reported days without heat, freezing-cold showers, and overnight shutoffs. “We’ve had over 40 days of no hot water over the last 11 months. And we’re now on day eight or nine straight of no hot water,” Williamsburg tenant Alex Hughes told the publication. “I had to walk 15 minutes in the snow and ice to a friend’s house so I could shower.” The Post obtained city data showing that the city logged more than 215,000 heat complaints to the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) since Oct. 1, which surpasses the more than 187,000 complaints during the same time period the previous year. The president revealed that he had spoken with Savannah Guthrie and her family, adding that he directed all federal law enforcement to aid in the search. “I spoke with Savannah Guthrie, and let her know that I am directing ALL Federal Law Enforcement to be at the family’s, and Local Law Enforcement’s, complete disposal, IMMEDIATELY,” he said. “We are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) ‘winery’ has deepened after an intrepid journalist visited the alleged address and made an important discovery. As TGP’s Jim Hoft previously reported, Omar and her husband Tim Mynett have claimed that they own a major winery called E Street LLC (ESTCRU) in California, but no one could find it. Making things even more suspicious, the business’s revenue has exploded from roughly $25,000 in 2025 to $5 million. On Wednesday, independent journalist Angela Rose and an assistant decided to visit the principal address listed as Omar’s supposed winery. The name Punchdown Cellars is prominently displayed on the building. Then, Rose notices a damning letter that raises even more questions about the ‘winery’: She notices a letter in the window that says ESTCRU does not make wine at the location. In fact, they have not been clients of Punchdown Cellars for several years and have ceased operations. The letter also notes that the ESTCRU’s operating address is linked only to this location due to state and federal filings. Rose says she believes that this all means ESTCRU is just a shell business used to launder funds.
