James Comer Investigating Taxpayer Funds Granted to Blacklist Conservative Media:

House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) on Thursday launched a probe into reports that taxpayer dollars administered by the State Department were granted to the Global Disinformation Index (GDI), an organization that seeks to demonetize conservative news outlets.

GDI has recently received $330,000 in taxpayer funds administered by the State Department, according to media reports. Taxpayer funds flowing to GDI are significant because it maintains a media blacklist known as the “Dynamic Exclusion List,” which reportedly flags 39 conservative news outlets as “false/misleading.”

The list is ultimately used by the establishment to discredit conservative news organizations, reduce their ad revenue, and de-platform them. The outlets known to be on the blacklist include Breitbart News, the Blaze, the Washington Times, Judicial Watch, MRC.TV, RealClearPolitics, and the Daily Wire.

In a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Comer requested documents and a briefing on the scope of the State Department’s funds used to backlist conservative news organizations.

“The Committee is disturbed by recent reporting that taxpayer money ended up in the hands of a foreign organization running an advertising blacklist of organizations accused of hosting disinformation on their websites, including several conservative-leaning news organizations,” Comer wrote.

“The federal government should not be censoring free speech nor policing what news outlets Americans choose to consume,” Comer continued. “And taxpayer funds should never be given to third parties with the intent that they be used to censor lawful speech or abridge the freedom of the press.”

“The State Department should not be funding woke organizations who seek to censor and demonetize conservative outlets,” Stefanik stated last week. “House Republicans will assert our oversight over the State Department’s funding of these types of groups.”

Perilous hard times conditioning the left behind …

Climate Rationing of Meat and Fuel is Now on the Agenda, and In Advanced Planning Stages.

An information campaign to promote the benefits of rationing, along with stricter regulations, would be required to condition the public.

Abortionist turned pro-life doctor affirms killing a baby is ‘never necessary’ to save the mother’s life; 'Intentional feticide is never necessary even in the worst-case scenarios,' attests Dr. John Bruchalski:

Another former abortionist turned pro-life doctor is making the case that the most powerful argument for legal abortion, situations in which it is supposedly necessary to save the lives of pregnant women, is a “false flag operation” not rooted in medical fact.

Dr. John Bruchalski is the founder of the pro-life, faith-based medical practice Tepeyac OB/GYN and the nonprofit Divine Mercy Care. He “performed abortions believing he was helping women” during his medical training, but “[a]fter a spiritual awakening, he realized abortion was not achieving freedom, health, and happiness for women. Dr. Bruchalski stopped performing abortions, returned to the faith, and felt God’s call to start a medical practice that truly helped women.”

He cites the example of a “mother’s amniotic sac break[ing] prematurely at 14 weeks,” for which abortion may be presented as an option, but both patients can instead “be treated with antibiotics and close observation and even have a good chance of stabilization. If they make it to 22 weeks or more, the baby has a good chance of survival outside the womb.”

He grants that many circumstances may necessitate delivering a baby before he or she can survive outside the womb or indirectly end the baby’s life, such as chemotherapy or treatment of an ectopic pregnancy, but stresses that such treatments are not abortion; they do not entail direct, intentional violence on the child for the purpose of ending his or her life.

In fact, he stresses, “[e]lective abortions become more dangerous the further along in pregnancy, and that’s when the majority of these health complications arise. Abortions after 24 weeks cause massive fluid shifts, which can push the mom into heart, lung, or kidney failure. If the mother’s life is in immediate danger, a C-section takes one hour. A direct abortion after 24 weeks can take two to three days. The argument cannot be made that an abortion is necessary because it is faster than delivery.”

Bruchalski quotes Dr. Byron Calhoun, a high-risk OB-GYN in West Virginia, who regularly handles such cases and agrees “it is never necessary to kill the baby to save the mother’s life.”

The specter of women dying in childbirth due to being denied abortions is one of abortion activists’ most potent talking points. . . .  They have successfully used such fears to help defeat some pro-life ballot initiatives, despite being unfounded not only medically, but as a matter of law.

Every state with pro-life laws currently on the books explicitly makes exceptions for medical treatment to save the life of a mother, regardless of whether that treatment is classified as abortion. Further, the vast majority of abortions have never been sought for medical reasons, but for social, career, or financial considerations.

What’s Going On? Massive Fires Break Out at Three Mexico State-Owned Oil Facilities Including One in Texas Within 24 Hours (VIDEO):

In just one day, massive fires broke out at three different facilities in Mexico and one in the United States that are controlled by the state-owned Mexican oil company, Pemex.

On Thursday, three separate fires broke out at Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) facilities, resulting in two workers’ death, at least eight people were injured, and several others missing, Bloomberg reported.

This resulted in increased scrutiny of the safety record of the Mexican state oil firm in advance of its earnings call on Monday.

The fires broke out at the Pemex crude oil storage facility in Veracruz, Mexico, in Maya unit (285,000-barrel-a-day) Minatitlan refinery in Veracruz, and in Deer Creek, Texas.

[The smoke plumes look remarkably similar to the one near Palestine, Ohio where the train derailment was.]

Geri, I wanted to expand on your fake meat story.

When peddling his book "How to Avoid a Climate Disaster" in 2021, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates told the MIT Technology Review that "all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef. You can get used to the taste difference. . . .

Report: Some lab-grown meat pushed by WEF and Bill Gates as a remedy for climate change is made of 'immortalized' cancer cells:

. . . .Bloomberg's recent report underscoring how synthetic meat is, in many cases, cancer.

While lab-grown meat advocates contend their product is, at least on the cellular level, no different from real meat, the report stressed that "normal meat cells don't just keep dividing forever"; normal cells will only divide a few dozen times.

In order to get the cell cultures to multiply at the rates necessary to keep these doctored meat companies afloat, "several companies, including the Big Three, are quietly using what are called immortalized cells. ... Immortalized cells are a staple of medical research, but they are, technically speaking, precancerous and can be, in some cases, fully cancerous."

These so-called immortal cells — modified to divide forever, thereby "defying the normal limits of growth ... mak[ing] them unmistakably more like cancer cells" — are grown in vats called bioreactors, where they ultimately generates tons of "cell mass."

The report indicated that some cancer researchers have downplayed the risk of consuming this cancerous lab meat, noting that "because the cells aren't human, it's essentially impossible for people who eat them to get cancer from them, or for the precancerous or cancerous cells to replicate inside people at all."

"Despite the informal scientific consensus around the safety of immortalized cells, there just aren't any long-term health studies to prove it," he wrote.

This may account for why Upside has investors and reporters who taste the company's pseudo-chicken sign a "creepy waiver," which reads, "The cultured meat and related food products in the Tasting are experimental. ... The properties are not completely known."

The hypothetical concerns about "chicken tumors and cancer burgers" may ultimately be discounted by climate alarmists and journalists, but scientists and industry legal teams are evidently reluctant to dismiss them altogether.

Chinese Fighter Jet Flies within 500 Feet of Navy Plane with CNN, NBC News Crew Aboard:

A Chinese fighter jet came within 500 feet of a Navy plane with CNN and NBC News crew aboard on Friday amid escalating tensions.

The US Navy surveillance plane was flying over the South China Sea in international airspace when a warning came over the radio.

“No approaching any more or you will pay full responsibility,” said a voice from a ground station belonging to China’s air force, NBC News reported.

The NBC News reporter aboard said the Chinese fighter jet got close enough to where she could see the pilots.

U.S. officials said encounters like the one witnessed by NBC News on Friday, though professional, are becoming more frequent as Beijing and Washington step up their campaigns for influence in the Pacific. The strategically important South China Sea is an increasingly prominent stage for the spiraling tensions between the world’s two largest economies, which have clashed over everything from Taiwan to the war in Ukraine.

Recall, a Chinese fighter jet came within 20 feet of American Military Aircraft in December.

UGH!   So evil.

Earlier this month I saw a lady at the grocery store with the “Impossible Burger” patties package in her shopping cart.  I said have you ever eaten that before?  She said no.  I then tried to warn her its all made in a lab and it contains toxic chemicals.  She shrugged me off with so what … its “plant base” because it says so on the label … so she thinks its “healthy”. 🙄

I saw some packages at the food bank about 3 weeks ago … this means either the date expired or perhaps there is no expiration date on this 💩   Or customers have tried it and didn’t like and now donated it?

And this summary:

by James Miller

Ok, so a Chinese Spy Balloon flies for 5 days over the country, and then a bunch of factory fires happen and an horrible toxic plume spreads chemicals over multiple states from a train derailment. And then then 5 people hired by the train company to measure the air and water die when their plane crashes 3 states away while they were responding to another factory fire at a metal alloy factory? And then 3 oil refineries owned by the same company explode in Mexico and the United States TODAY. Mysterious powder falls to the ground over 2 state region down wind from the the toxic chemical plume in Ohio. Am I being ridiculus for pointing this out?
