I’m a tilapia, halibut, and Salmon lover. Fish weekly, does that make me a good Catholic :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: sorry, my apologies, couldn’t resist, I meant to offense, but I do work for one of the largest Catholic Healthcare systems. :prayer-hands: Hee hee ... Actually “Friedday” fish meals are for 6 1/2 weeks. The nightmare ofishally starts by allowing a priest to dirty your forehead on Ash Wednesday. Then kick-off time of Fish Fish Fish happens 2 days later and every Friedday until Easter. Ironically most Catholics hate fish so they got around that deplorable “holy” obligation by giving up something they enjoy eating/drinking or smoking. Some promise not to eat chocolate or they will attend mass every day or a few times a week. Just another works base false dogma system to control the people. B-) So true, I knew who is a practicing Catholic by every Ash Wednesday, My first year working with this organization, I made a huge mistake by telling a colleague they had some dirt on their forehead —- :mdrmdr: :calvin this was then followed by a 15 min rendition of the why behind the forehead dirt mark .... never made that mistake again. Promptly went home that evening to find an old book we had from Bible college on All questions you were afraid to ask .... no really it was on What Catholics believe and how to witness to them! Should have listened better in that course :mdrmdr:
