From Amir Tsarfati's e-mail newsletter:

Prime Minister Netanyahu Addresses United Nations:
During his presentation, he spoke of a proposed trade route from India to the West that would pass through the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Israel. He emphasized the many new relationships that Israel is forging and showed a map of a new Middle East emphasizing these new friendships. He also said that the US and Saudi Arabia shouldn’t let the Palestinians have the right to veto a peace deal that would normalize relations between Jerusalem and Riyadh.

Israel Joins US Visa Waiver Program:
In a huge win for Prime Minister Netanyahu, the US has included Israel as the 41st country on its Visa Waiver list. This means that Israeli citizens may now enter the US without a visa and remain for up to 90 days. Netanyahu called the move a “significant and joyous moment for all Israeli citizens.”

Saudis Send Delegation Team to West Bank:
Large strides were made last week in the pursuit of normalizing relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia. Tuesday saw Saudi Arabia’s first ambassador to the Palestinian Authority arrive in the West Bank. The visit of Nayef al-Sudairi marked the first time a Saudi delegation has been in the West Bank since 1967. At the same time, Israel’s Tourism Minister Haim Katz arrived in Saudi Arabia for a conference, marking the first official visit of an Israeli minister to the country. Later this week, Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karai will also carry out an official visit, attending a conference in Saudi Arabia. The government of Israel is very optimistic regarding these developments. Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said that he expects six or seven other Muslim nations to join Saudi Arabia in making peace with Israel. This fits right into the prophecies of the Ezekiel 38 war when these Gulf countries, referred to by Ezekiel as Sheba and Dedan, will stand up and criticize the invasion against Israel rather than joining in.

Deluge of Syrian Refugees Killing Lebanon’s Economy:
Refugees of the Syrian Civil War are destroying Lebanon’s economy. The population of Lebanon is approximately 6 million. The latest estimate of Syrian refugees who have crossed the border is 2.5 million. Lebanon is already in bad enough shape with the Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist group involved in every level of government. But to have the burden of these refugees is far more than the economy can handle.

Wow! Definitely getting close to the edge.

Water libation reenactment followed by full-dress Levite rehearsal [PHOTOSPREAD]:

On Tuesday, a full-dress reenactment of the water libation as it was performed in the Temple was held in Jerusalem.

The event was not open to the public so ten participants attended the drawing of water from the Shiloach Pool (Siloam in English, Silwan in Arabic). The Pool of Siloam was the starting point for pilgrims who made the annual pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the Biblical feasts. They would use the pool to wash and ritually purify themselves before ascending by foot to the inner court of the Temple Mount to bring their sacrificial offerings.

Though not explicitly mandated in the Torah, water libation is part of the oral tradition passed down from Moses. Throughout the year, the daily offerings in the Temple were accompanied by the pouring of wine on the altar. On Sukkot, water was poured in addition to the wine.  (Echoes of Jesus turning water into wine?)

Sukkot is described in Jewish tradition as a joyous holiday and the water libation was the focal point of this joy.

“He who has not seen the rejoicing at the Simchat Bet Hasheavah [the water drawing ceremony], has never seen rejoicing in his life” (The Mishna, Sukkah 5:1).

In Temple times, the ceremony would take fifteen hours with accompanying celebrations lasting all night until the Temple service began again the next morning. Nations came from around the world to take part in the Sukkoth celebrations making it international worship of  God.

Levites dressed in special garb blew meter-long silver trumpets prepared for use in the Third Temple as Kohanim (priests) wearing the Biblically mandated Temple vestments performed the ceremony of drawing water from the pool in a gold vessel that was also prepared for use in the Third Temple.

After the drawing of the water, the group ascended with song and dance to Gan HaTekuma in the Old City of Jerusalem where a Temple reenactment was held. In the evening, the Levites held a special full-dress rehearsal. This group of Levites practices every week in preparation for the Third Temple.

Lisa read …. Sneak attack on Israel … Hamas commander declares war and calls on Islamic groups in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Syria  to unite and attack Israel.

Could this be it?  Psalm 83 and Isaiah 17?
