We are told those that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Whether its attacks from humans or demonic forces ... a lot of times we are not fighting with flesh and blood. But be of good cheer ... the Lord is always with us and will never forsake us. We just need to call out to Jesus and He is faithful and will deliver us out of our calamities. The wicked have sold their sold to the devil for the perishable riches and fame/popularity of this life. That is the only reason why we see them “prosper” but its a mirage ... their so called “joy” in this life is only a moment of time compared to eternity. And do they REALLY have “joy”? Once they receive the fame and money they are still wanting. Nothing in this world truly satisfies unless you have JESUS living inside. He alone brings joy and peace. Meanwhile the enemy might be able to kill our body but they can’t kill our soul nor can they separate us from the love of God. Our citizenship is eternally secured - they can’t wipe our names out of the Book of Life. :bible Psalm 37 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
