I agree, Melissa. This author's Beliefs and Doctrine about post trib and the 75 days differing from our own Pre-Tribulation Rapture Statement of Faith, boils down to his view and ours being a difference of opinion about when the rapture occurs. Millions of brothers and sisters in Christ will be joyfully surprised along with us, but likely most of them do not recognize that Matthew 24 is about the Second Coming for the Jews, as I and likely most of you recognize. This author's citation of Matthew 24:29-31 is -- 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. His second citation of Daniel 12:11-13 is clearly the 75 days difference between the 1,335 days and the 1,260 day first half of the Tribulation. -- 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. 13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. Melissa, I admit to not having read the "Beliefs and Doctrine" (not "statement of faith") on his website until now, and I'll continue to digest what's there, but even in our flatly rejecting this belief, our RITA Now baby can still rest in a wealth of nice warm lucid bathwater found at The Narrow Way Christian Ministry website. Nothing is shaken here. And yes, thank you Melissa: "God bless everyone here💕" Right, Dan! Many do not recognize that Matt 24 is for the Jews during the tribulation. Even the statement Mt. 24:34 “Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished” is misunderstood. Many look to the reforming of Israel as a nation and then count 70 years but that is not the correct way to look at this. Jesus made this statement in context to the Tribulation and His Second Coming, not the rapture. In other words, that generation who are alive during the Trib will not pass until all is completed......within 7 years. And I thought this was the best explanation about when the Wedding Feast will occur … not in heaven for 7 years … it happens on the earth and who are the 10 virgins …its not the bride … The Grand Wedding Feast The marriage and the marriage supper are two separate events in time at two separate locations. The marriage happens when the Church (the Bride) is raptured, or seized/collected, before the last seven years of Daniel’s 70th Week, and the marriage feast/wedding banquet likely is the grand feast at the beginning of Christ’s Kingdom on earth when we come back with Him at the 2nd coming. The referenced passage in Revelation provides clues for this: Revelation 19:7-9 9 Then he *said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.’” And he *said to me, “These are the true words of God.”’ Other passages speak of a time of celebration and feast with the Lord, at His table, in the coming Kingdom on earth. We are told people will come from all directions. At His Second Coming, the Old Testament faithful and martyrs from Daniel’s 70th Week will be resurrected. They are invited guests along with the faithful survivors of the 70th Week, which are of the parable of the 10 virgins. Some translations translate virgins in the parable to bridesmaids, just to explain what the tradition was actually about and referring to. The bride is nowhere in that parable, and is one body. You can’t have part of the bride condemned. Jesus took away all condemnation over the bride. The bride also cannot be refused admittance to her own wedding banquet (nor is the bride an invited guest to her own wedding or wedding banquet.) Neither are there five brides. Psalm 45 is applied to the coming Messiah’s wedding and mentions virgins who follow behind the bride in v14-15. They come after the bride to join her as companions. They would be the same as the 5 wise virgins (bridesmaids) in the 10 virgins parable which speaks of the 70th Week survivors waiting for the Groom, whom had previously carried His bride away to be married, to come back with His wife and to welcome them to the wedding feast in the Kingdom on earth. The ones who remained vigilant and faithful through the hardest times on earth will dine with all others of the faith from Adam to John the Baptist, and all the 70th Week martyrs with Jesus and His redeemed wife. What a glorious and joyous time this feast commences with the highest degree of jubilant celebration as the world accepts it’s Messiah King and His wife. - Fair Use -
‘7 Let’s rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride (Literally wife) has prepared herself.” 8 It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
Verses 7 and 8 are speaking in the past tense: (has come, has prepared, was given; the bride is actually referred to as the wife at this point) then in verse 9 that all changes. He said “Blessed are”(not were) and “who are invited”(not were or have been invited). This is in context to His 2nd Coming.
