I know that many of you will be aware of this link between Malachi 4 and Mark 5 but I felt lead to post it anyway since I have just arrived at that point in my Old Testament readings but also it is relevant to the times that we now find ourselves in. Malachi 4:1-2 King James Version (KJV) For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. The Hebrew word for "Wings" is "Kanaph" (Strong's H3671) which actually means the edge or corner of the garment. I'm convinced that the poor lady in Mark 5 who suffered for 12 years with a hemorrhage knew this scripture and rushed to the one who had the authority to grant her real genuine healing, both bodily and spiritually. There is a deeper study here with the clothing in regard to the "Tallit and the Tzitzit" but I wanted to keep my message centered on the end times aspect of Malachi 4 which is that for us who have come under the authority of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ and have been healed by His stripes He will very soon arise with healing in His Wings.
