Thieves,

A blend of highly antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-infectious essential oils. Thieves was created from research of a group of 15th century thieves who rubbed oils on themselves to avoid contracting the plague while they robbed the bodies of the dead and dying. When apprehended, the thieves disclosed the formula of herbs, spices and oils to protect themselves in exchange of more lenient punishment.

Studies conducted at Weber State University during 1997, demonstrated its killing power against airborne microorganism. One analysis showed a 90% reduction in the number of gram positive Micrococcus luteus organisms after diffusing for 12 minutes. After 20 minutes of diffusing, the kill rate jumped to 99.3 %.

Ingredients:

Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus, Rosemary

Application:

Dilute 1 part EO with to 4 parts vegetable oil

Possible sun/skin sensitivity

Diffuse for 15 - 30 minutes every 3 - 4 hours,

Apply to bottom of feet, throat, stomach, or abdomen.

Dilute 1:15 in vegetable oil and massage over thymus

For headaches, put one drop on tongue and push against roof of mouth

Dilute with 1:15 vegetable oil for body massage

Put 4 - 8 drops on cotton ball and locate on vents

Add 2 drops on a wet cloth and put in clothes dryer

As mentioned on another thread, I use Young Living because they own everything, their farms have not been sprayed with pesticides for at least 50 years, some of their farms have never been sprayed. They have their own distilleries. Dr. Gary Young spent a life time travelling all over the world and studying essential oils.

Dr. Young said that we have to be careful what oils to buy, some oils might have stuff added to them that might make them toxic.

There is  hand soap made with thieves, hand sanitizers, vegetable and fruit soak, and toothpaste.

I hope this post sounds OK and does not sound like giving medical advice.

Neat Heidi 🙂

One essential oil I use is Citronella. Several drops in a spray bottle of water keeps our cats away from scratching furniture.....be sure to spray the furniture and not the cat!!

Be sure not to spray the cats! That's funny. Poor cats.

I need to put essential oils in a spray bottle to keep my cat away from furniture. (or what's left of them)

Our cats are fine with our use of Citronella. It's greatly diluted with water but the scent is there that keeps them at a distance from your furniture. They've not had any health problems but it is good to always know how to use products with caution for our pets.

Back in 2016 I had a torn meniscus tear on my right knee.  I wanted to avoid the doctor and surgery.  So I googled how to heal naturally … and this lady gave out the list of essential oils.  I went to the health store to buy the small bottles and a small glass bottle to mix the liquids in.  I didn’t think of getting a squeeze dropper.  I thought I could just eye ball it.  Well … as I applied the solution with a cotton ball to my knee … the fumes in the family room were sooooo potent my dog wasn’t looking good and I had a horrible headache.  I had to air out the room and kept the bottles and solution in the garage and would only apply it when I was outdoors in the freezing cold.  Thru prayers and faithfully applying the essential oils … plus wrapping up the knee with an Ace bandage and a cloth Velcro knee brace and using a cane … it took a few months but I did get healed.

Citronella helps deter mosquitoes too.  We bought a citronella geranium and have it on our patio.  Fewer mosquito bites this year.
