Interesting link between what's happening right now on Temple Mount and Zechariah's prophecy. Zechariah 2:5 5 For I,’ saith the Lord, ‘will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.’ But -- is it irrational exuberance to assume that a burning tree = "wall of fire"? irrational exhuberance when Jesus returns to save at the end of the tribulation, He will personally be the defender of Israel, and His presence will literally be God's glory in the midst of her. but as for what's happening, this spectacle will not keep going on because at some point, a change of opinion will happen in which "the covenant" is confirmed, and a temple will be rebuilt. Something or Someone is going to cool the heels of those launching rockets at Israel. The Lord Jesus will personally defend Jerusalem the tree that burned was not God being a wall of fire to defend Jerusalem the writer at israel365 forgot to write the first part Zech 2:1 And I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand! 2 Then I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.” 3 And behold, the angel who talked with me came forward, and another angel came forward to meet him 4 and said to him, “Run, say to that young man, ‘Jerusalem shall be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of people and livestock in it. 5 And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst.’” Amen Regina!
