Tammie as far as favorites go,  it’s dogs, then horses, and then cats. In that order. Not to get anything going, mind you.

Kent, I would be ok with that order, I suppose I could force myself to ride the mare up to heaven :mdrmdr:  — I have had many dogs in my lifetime and I miss them all. I am a large dog person (had one small one and that was a mistake, kept stepping on him) - I have grown up with Danes, Collies, Shepards, and a mix of them. Now as for horses, I would take any but I am partial to the Dutch Warmblood (but not for show, just riding), I guess my next fav would be the Quarter horse, it is very common and it’s temperament can vary greatly. We have the wild horse runs here on the eastern shore at Chincoteague island and the Chincoteague ponies are now an official breed — they are a bit feisty as they are considered wild.

I’m not much of a cat person — my husband is and my daughter’s two cats seem to like me anyway. But i think it will be fun to have a variety in heaven.

Tammie, I’ve had a number of different breeds of dogs, including a German Shepherd/Collie mix. The one now is my portapooch. She is laidback and loves everyone. At 7 pounds she can get underfoot as you mentioned.

I spent a lot of time growing up on grandparents’ farm. Loved all the animals except for the mean roosters and the mule that would “hee haw” early in the morning and wake you up.

When we have our glorified bodies, it will be something to see how our animals have been transformed. I wonder how communication with them will affected.

Kent, your fur baby is very cute!   Wondering does she often stands up … hopping and reaching for things on the table?

I’m wondering if before the fall dogs were able to walk upright and perhaps dance?

Here’s my fur baby as a puppy standing up trying to chew a bully stick while I was using my iPad. Not sure if he was trying to get my attention and wanted me to hold the stick for him?  I do that now so he can chew it easily.  But I noticed he feels comfortable standing up on 2 paws so it does have me wondering … what kind of tricks could the animals do before the fall?  🤔 And will they have the ability to fly in the next life besides talking again?

Geri, Leah has no problem standing on her hind legs. I had never thought about dogs being upright. She does seem to be natural at it. She’s too little to reach the table.
