Here are the thoughts from one of our readers who joined the fb page-
Thought it might encourage some of you to consider,it :rose: her name is Angela

I was a lurker on the RITAN website for about 5 years, so I know you all don’t know me. I don’t know why really I never posted. Maybe because I used to post on the Rapture Ready bulletin board for years and didn’t feel as though my messages were that meaningful. Anyway, I never wanted to come to Facebook either. It was after the death of my late husband in 2014 that I did finally open an account to interact with friends. I’ve since narrowed my friends list down to a selected few. And I am very cautious about what groups I follow and join. I am glad I did this because it led me to find Heather R on Facebook and to follow her. I really feel God is using her in such a specific direction and through her studies and research my own interpretation of bible prophecy has been shaped. I do hope those who are still uncertain about joining Facebook here from the old site would reconsider. They can make an alias account and set up a lot of security buffers to help prevent problems. I will pray that our Lord leads them in the direction He would have them go. I know many who were lurkers on the old site (like me) would love to finally say hello here on Facebook to those we have admired and considered our bible mentors.

"and all creation sing with me now, lift up your voice and lay your burdens down...let all of creation sing with me now fill up the heavens let HIs glory resound, and every knee will bow, oh in every tongue praise the Father, praise the Son and the Spirit in One!!"

So how does one create an alias account? – I thought you had to use your real name.

You just put in whatever name you want. How would they enforce such a rule? The account I’m using now doesn’t have my real name.

All you need is a valid email address. Create a new one somewhere, then set up your account using whatever name you want. It’s been a while since I set mine up, but people make their names whatever they want all the time. Facebook is a tool that can be used however people choose to use it. I understand why some people want to stay away from it, but at the same time I kind of don’t. If you think you’ll get in an argument with people, don’t friend them. My page is only for fellowship with other brothers and sisters, none of whom I’ve actually met. My family has tried to add me, and I decline them all the time. There are arguments I’m not going to have and time I’m not going to waste. That may be harsh, but I’m not on FB to make a lot of friends. I’m there to use it as another avenue to learn and grow. Everything in this life is what you make of it, and time isn’t limitless.

Having said that, the new RITAN page has been pretty busy. A lot of the same stuff that’s come up here has come up there.

You all can get ahold of me through my YT channel, through sending me a message on academia.edu, or by adding me as a friend on FB. I doubt I’ll be around much besides YT and my personal FB page, and that’ll be few and far between. I find the more I learn the less I can handle all these new weird ideas and speculations that so much of the church is getting involved in… not that I know it all or anything, but I know enough to know people are chasing their tails and running around in circles. It’s best I just stay away so I don’t say things I’ll regret.

Romans1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

I chuckled reading this but only because I do the same thing. I tend towards the verbal “shoot first, apologize later” when my patience runs out and Lord knows I’m still learning patience

Please just go to Gmail at google, make up a name get a email address. Take that email make up another name and join Facebook. Then you can even make up a different user name. Set all your settings to “me only “or “friends only ” accept no friends request and bingo . Go to Rapture in the air now and join the group. If you want wait till group goes private to post and no one knows. I have been there going on several days and nothing on my home page. As far as a photo use anything you wish , I used a image of the number 7. Please I don’t like social media at all. I understand your problems with it. However I refuse to lose a family I have been with for years, if there was any problem I would tell you. Please I can not think of anyone being left here without RITAN, it breaks my heart. I will not get into any debate about why. I ask why myself but what is , is, what we have is a choice to make. I love RITAN, I love my brothers and sisters I have found here. I have no real family left, but on RITAN I have a family I can spend eternity with. Hope you will join us, I need everyone of you.
    Love in Christ
