Maybe by earthquake, or just by God’s supernatural hand.??? Will they get their glorified bodies immediately after leaving their graves? Will they get their bodies on the way up and before us? Or will they receive them at the same time as us?

It will have to be supernatural in some way. Think of bodies obliterated, cremated, buried at sea, etc. Parts of earthly bodies may be scattered here and yon.

There may be an earthquake (I suspect some supernatural events will accompany the rapture, other than just our disappearance), but I believe, just like with Lazarus, our Lord will call to us and we’ll go. We’re his sheep and we’ll know his voice.

John 6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

We were made without our being ready, carefully formed and life breathed in us.
There has never been a day such as 1Thes 4:13-18, 1Cor 15 on the scale and consequence of that coming day
Only the rising again of our Saviour is greater—the Only One Who Could conquer the grave

Come Lord, peace and life is with You

Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise: your hand shall be in the neck of your enemies; your father's children shall bow down before you. Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, you are gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and to him shall the gathering of the people be. Gen 49

YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES!!!!!!! Seven yeses, seven exclamation points. One perfectly righteous and holy God. Maranatha, Lord Yeshua!!!

John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

I think that it is all going to happen at once, e.g. the rapture, the “glorified bodies,(I need one badly), the exit from the graves all at one time. Just my personal opinion. See you in the air.

I take a bold assumption. My guess that the dead rises first because God needs their DNA (either it is under the ground or beneath the ocean in ashes form) to regenerate their resurrected body. If DNA is not needed, and since they are already in heaven in soulish state,God could have changed them into incorruptible body in heaven alone instead of saying “Come up hither”.

    Any thought?

Really ready! More than ready! Champing at the bit, all systems go! T minus now, lift-off!

I’ve always thought the dead in Christ rise immediately (like a split second) before the rest of us, and we basically go together.

There is an interesting theory of the dead in Christ somehow showing up a few days before the Rapture, but I think a scenario like that could lead to deception. Perhaps that is part of the great deception?

Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Simple that God chooses the first always. The first born son, our parents and the dead in Christ. Which is God’s way of reminding us all that we must honor “who” came first, God! For without the first before us, none would exist. And this is why we can never be greater than our parents.

The only reason the dead go first is they have a little farther to go. I thought that you all would have known that .lol haha
