Hello all, can you please start praying as I have an interview Friday, March 10, 2017? It is a phone interview and hopefully will lead to an in-person and a contract with the location I will be working at, which incidentally is at a location I worked at many years ago as a contractor. Hopefully after three months, they actually hire me!

Praying your long patience pays off, Golden Knight. We need to celebrate! It’s time. Hopefuly God sees it this way, too! In any case, we will be on the case. You relax and enjoy the interview. Just give it your best shot . That’s all you can do. We’ll cover the prayer shield part. Placing this request in His hands for Friday. God speed.

The eyes of the Lord range throughout the entire earth, to strengthen those whose heart is true to him.

Thank you for the prayers Seismo Joe and Victory Chanter.

I was listening to Charles Stanley online and the sermon was about being humble and asking God to intervene, that humility was not a weakness, but a strength, when we’ve done all we can and don’t know where to turn. So after the sermon “When We Feel Helpless,” I prayed and gave it to God, not sure why I didn’t realize this 3 months ago! I think it has something to do with just coming to the realization you’ve done all you can and NOW God needs to intervene, and sometimes this takes time.

Asking God for favor, provision and His will to be done according to His purposes in Your life. Abba, open the doors that no man can shut, and close the ones that are not from You. In Yeshua’s Name.

John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

Quick update: Interview went fine, but I hate those behavioral question type of interviews, this was one of them, and I’m not sure that I want to work there, since it ends according to them in 90 days and I didn’t get the feeling there would be anything after that.

You can pray that I get a job at where two of my colleagues work. As I told you earlier, one of them started working this week and he’s working with another previous colleague of ours! That colleague told me to contact him. This morning I called him, but got his voicemail. His LinkedIn message said they are hiring! — I tried in the past to work there through their online system, but got nowhere — so it’s good to have networked connections!

I’m hoping this is it! It’s also where I’d like to work to get more valuable experience for the field I’m in. My other leads are still in the kettle and I have an interview Tuesday with a recruiter, but the salary is a mere fraction of what I’m use to making, so I’m concerned about making my basic living expenses and rent. Truth be told, I’d rather just get to work with two of my former colleagues! — so this is good news! Keep praying! I feel like this is about to break and that God is working!

Still praying for the Lord to open doors that are of Him and close the ones that are not. I will say that my current job started out as a 4-month contract position, got extended to six, and then rolled over to a full-time employee position as of the first of the year. I, like you, was hesitant to pursue it because it theoretically meant I would be looking again so soon. But, in my desperation and at the encouragement of my daughter, I decided I would take it if the Lord opened it up. He did, and I did. Very thankful for it and for enough health to work.

Not saying that means you should take the 3-month contract if it opens up; just saying don’t automatically exclude it with natural eyes. If God’s in it, it can be good. If He tarries, He might have for you to take the short-term position to tide you over until the opportunity with your former colleagues opens up. Bottom line, just encouraging you not to limit the Lord with any preconceived notions or agendas. Looking forward to hearing a good report from you in the near future.
